Overall, Sage Fixes Assets is a wonderful tool that integrates into our Accounting Database server well.

This helps in planning, reporting and decision making.

Controller

In addition, it has a testing database we utilize to create entries/depreciation that doesn't affect our data.   As the Controller now, I can run my own reports to check the status of our assets.

Fnance Manager - Fixed Assets

We often input assets with in-service dates which are in prior months - so we record depreciation by comparing current month YTD deprec to the prior months YTD depreciation.   Because of this we cannot upload the JE from BEST to our ERP system as the Sage process is designed to pick up the monthly depreciation.

As a Canadian user, we have found Sage Fixed Assets to be a suitable and robust solution for the tracking of acquisitions, amortization, NBVs, month-end accounting, and year-end reporting.
