ServiceTitan’s support feels slow, unresponsive, and disorganized, with tickets dragging on for weeks, repeated escalations, and limited follow‑through, which is especially painful when complex glitches, billing problems, or onboarding issues are blocking day‑to‑day operations.

This approach eliminates the necessity of forcing users to set their devices to the time zone of their work location, instead of their actual living location or the need to purchase a new device.

Automated text messages when a technician is on the way, ability to pay their invoice online, and fast online scheduling with real time availability makes us very simple to do business with!

It is a one stop shop for our business needs from reports and accounting to payroll to invoicing to inventory and purchasing with Marketing and GPS tracking.

Customer Service and Dispatch Manager

The customer receives a text and email notification when the appointment is booked, as well as a reminder the day before the appointment. When our technicians dispatch to a customer, the customer receives a text message and the techs picture.

The support team struggles with minimally complex tasks, often requiring me to troubleshoot and explain the underlying problems.

ServiceTitan has numerous bugs and system flaws, making it making it not worth five times the cost of Housecall Pro.

ServiceTitan is a widely used software, so it makes it easy to find videos and other real users to whom you can ask questions.

There are many different things I Like about Service Titan some of the most important is Calendar Organization, the Content portal and being able to keep a good working customer history back-up which is easy to look-up when in need.

The inventory system can be challenging when scaling, especially if you don’t have dedicated personnel to manage setup and ongoing maintenance.

I only say this because it was hard at first on getting hands on support through customer service, but after that I find customer support to be helpful when I do have questions or issues to arise.

I don't credit Service Titan with bringing us the growyh opportunities, but Service Titan 100% allowed us to take on a much higher workload, streamloned business and allowed us to continue accepting more qork and new clients.  

I’m not a fan of the escalated growth plan that requires a minimum number of managed technicians for billing.

However, like any robust software, it requires proper setup and ongoing management to maximize its potential—especially in areas like inventory.

Then the onboarding rep is overworked and is not available to help you build the system around your business.

We would not be where we are today without the amazing features of Service Titan, and it is great to know that these features are all backed by an amazing team for onboarding, ongoing success and they have programs to help educate you on the program to get the most value for your spending.

As of today, we are creating multiple line items of the same task based on the payment terms, each one with a percentage so that the total adds up to 100%.

We have all of our technicians on service titan and they are able to get their jobs and get to the job quickly.

My job requires 10 times the hours to complete normal administrative task.

Long term it will help us grow as a company and provide more capability to provide value to customers.

Deceptive sales team:  The sales team makes it seem like the system can be built to handle anything you throw at it.

I wish I had a dedicated support member for support only not someone monitoring how I am using ST most and should use more.

Now...we save hours and look more professional with digital invoices and estimates...streamlined payment options...technician time clock and commission tracking.

It is extremely advanced and would work well for large companies that offer multiple services.

ServiceTitan is a little complicated at first to integrate and set up for your particular business, but once that's done and the bugs are worked out for your needs, then it works great!

I also find useful the amount of technician performance data that Service Titan allows me to access, such as billable efficiency.

The process of creating estimate and proposal templates can be quite complicated for new users.

The support team needs untouched system errors, so these issues persist.

I'd like to see the ability for admin to have an app login for training and troubleshooting purposes.

The customer communications and online payments is something we lacked in our old software that has made our lives (and our customers lives) so much easier!

I feel my information is secure and have no worries of my customer's information being hacked.

I would like the office accounts to have more abilities and that the program offered more tracking and KPIs for office staff.

The platform was too complex, the sales pitch was good, but what you actually sign the contract for is less than the add-on costs for each module that they don't disclose on the front end.

What I liked most about ServiceTitan was how easy and painless it was to setup for the business and link multiple devices keeping everyone connected.

Also, yes the software is forever evolving, which is great, but we find it hard sometimes to be able to customize the software to fit every aspect of our business model and day to day operations.

It is so nice to have everything in the same spot, invoicing, dispatch, pricebook, inventory, payroll, etc.

I like most about Service Titan the ability to access job history including notes and pictures.

We traded some headaches for more complex issues.

What I liked least about ServiceTitan was the few software issue's the I faced with the ServiceTitan mobile app.

The other option would be to bill the whole thing and keep the invoice open until the project is complete, which is not good for accounting reasons.
