it's a good tool for bug tracking and management and also for project construction
Jira is a very useful software both for agile working and for bug tracking I like most the filters. You can customize filters a lot
I like least about jira the search engine, it's not well working and sometimes you have to perform your search twice

Make it to work with any other tool, easy configurations.
Jira Server vs Cloud differences is an issue, you can do most of things with server but may not with cloud.

I have used Jira and Jira Agile (Greenhopper) in both of my last two jobs, and I have found them to be invaluable. Jira in itself is a great way for capturing ideas, logging issues and discussing new features, bugs etc. Jira Agile helps me (and my team) put those issues in to development plan and execute those plans. Jira Agile gives me great visibility on what the team are doing, and what the current issues are... and helps us as a team resolve any issues.
Best bug and issue tracking system out there for teams large and small. Especially good for distributed teams.
Cloud hosting could be a touch faster... please :)

We like JIRA because it allows the owner of the task to create and manage the status of their own work with no more effort than sending an email, so the bar to adoptions is very low. As a product/process owner we can then passively create management reports/tracking via JIRA dashboards with minimal effort and manage projects from 1-100+ people and not have to chase them for status reports, its all auto-magical (is that a word?). We like the vendor/product for the following key reasons 1) The rich choice of plugins and flexible configuration, 2) The option to run on the clouds or locally, 3) stability, 4) the low maintenance costs and ease of upgrades.
Many key features are not available on the cloud due to limitation of plugins, Atlasssian should work with the vendors to get more plugins compatible with the cloud. We would also like to see the responsiveness of the cloud version improved.

We've used Jira to streamline our SDLC and bring the rest of the company in to the process.
I liked that it include a suit of tools to help support our SDLC and roadmap towards CI/CD.
I don't like that the mobile app only seems to work for cloud instances of Jira and the huge differences between a federated instance and cloud instance.

Easy cloud workflow and ticket management
Jira offers high customisation yet ease of use. It is easy for reporting with the ability to build custom queries. The ability to load attachments makes it a great workflow tool to process issues, changes, etc in a large organisation.
It would be great to have restrictions on custom field names. If too many fields are named with the word status the main status field becomes hard to find.

I have a distributed team for building custom software for start ups. JIRA is at the heart of all those operations keeping everybody together and on the same page. I don't even know what a commit without an issue key looks like anymore. :D
- many integrations - connects seamlessly with bitbucket and slack - highly scalable - good permission configurations
- high monthly cost - limited plugins for Cloud installations (OnDemand)

Customizable design tools, support in the cloud, as well as development with ficiency.
I gradate the compatability of the methodologies that it has, the workflow engine, the integration of its activities, the search and integration of its results. It is also nice the personalization capacity that it has.
The dependence of the internet for its execution in the cloud.

Awesome , Wonderful , extremely useful , Cloud support is excellent.
The fast that you can create, update, track, and manage issues (tasks, bugs, enhancements, etc.) in a single platform makes it a must have for project management professionals.
when extensive data , JIRA can be bit slow performance wise , plus user interface sometimes feels cluttered. But , having said that , its a wonderful , must have tool.

Use it every day for multiple teams running scrum or kanban. Wanted to ensure we had a way to create features and related stories to define and track the work for our products. Easy to administer, easy to use and customer support is very good.
Have used this for quite a long time and it has all of the features you need to be able to track stories and issues. Easy to use for people in all positions. Lots of advanced features that take a bit of time to learn and apply but valuable once you do.
It's a little pricy. Migration from server to cloud can be difficult.

Using it every day to manage the workflow across multiple teams. Good tool for employees at multiple levels to get work done. Especially in an agile environment.
Easy to use interface with tons of features to track tickets through the agile process. Good integration with the other Atlassian products as well as some outside of that ecosystem. Ability to restrict access to those that need it across multiple different levels.
A little bit costly. Migration from server to cloud can be difficult.

JIRA helps us make sound business decision thanks to the additional metrics we're able to pull out of the system. And the ability to customize the product to fit our business process is stellar. It's not just a backlog.
Customizable, User friendly, great metrics, stellar knowledgebase, awesome marketplace
Inability to integrate some add-ons due to On Demand (Cloud) hosting.

Its helped us create a learning center for new employees to get trained on our systems, services, etc. Also, we managed a library for internal and external documentations set up for partners.
It's really easy to use, comment, create content and sections to manage all internal/external documentation.
When it's set on-premise it's not that faster as on cloud.
