Easy to manage account setup and agile project management.
Too costly when compared with peers and new entrants like nifty.

JIRA is used by almost every organization I do business with. It handles all the features an agile Software Development Team needs to track tasks and predict effort. I will be using it for the forseeable future.
If you can think of it, JIRA probably does it. I like the ability to create workflows for processes. The ability to specify that a task needs to go HERE before it can go THERE, and be approved by HER before it can be completed is pretty nifty. Another strength of the platform is it's integration potential. Everything integrates with JIRA, and JIRA integrates with everything - like a Slack notification when a particular type of task is completed.
With great power comes great complexity. I would like to see a little more intuitiveness when it comes to walking tasks and epics. It's still not super easy to one-click my way to an epic or to view all the tasks related to an epic. I'd also like to see more progressive enhancement - start simple in the UX and allow me to progressively add more complexity as I need it.

It's really helpful that everything is in the same place, and I don't have to switch between 4 different things to get the same level of functionality.
There isn't a migration tool from Jira, yet.

Speaking about around 8 year agency experience as a Project Manager I have tried them all: JIRA, Trello, Asana, Monday and so on and so forth. I must admit that when leaving JIRA aside since it's for a different purpose IMO, nifty is the best among them! It's even that good that internally we don't use teams or slack anymore since it also offers a chat function.
Nothing to add here. There's really nothing bad about this software. There used to. When cloning a Milestone you'd only clone the milestone without the tasks associated with it. That problem does not exist anymore and the team has developed such awesome features of which I didn't know I need them. But I do. Every day!

Before Nifty we used PivotalTracker. It was a mess. Engineers were duplicating tasks, QA didn't know what was ready for test, and my fellow department heads had no idea what was being released or when it was being released. Then we got Nifty, and everyone had clear visibility to their tasks, deadlines, and what needed to be done. Department heads and partners could plan releases efficiently. It was like everything just started working like it was supposed to. If you build and ship software. You need Nifty to manage your projects.
Sprint velocity needs to be improved a bit, but it is on their road map. However, its current version of tracking user story points is better than Jira.

It was a good experience honestly, for small projects it gets the work done almost always and its integration with other tools like Slack, Jira, and Google Calendar is amazing.
the kanban boards are what made nifty crucial during that time as it allowed us as a team to visualize our workflow and track the progress of our tasks
when loading complex projects, it was slow at times and there is two instances when it crashed but probably due to the hardware limitations. The only thing that should be improved is to make it more customizable like its competitiors.

Easy to use. Has all the features you need.
Nifty is quick to learn and easy to use. There are no hidden surprises or confusing layouts - everything looks and feels very intuitive. We use it as a partner to work with one of our suppliers, so it's used for both internal and cross company communication and collaboration - very easy to have discussions, tag team members and share project updates or questions as they come up. We've also used the Docs and Files features a lot too and they make file/document sharing super easy.
No real gripes - it works really nicely. Maybe the Tasks section could be easier to understand, or laid out in a different way (it feels more bolted on vs how we use something like Trello or Jira).

I kept looking for software which is more powerful than a trellis board, but doesn’t take a full time trained professional to manage (looking at you Jira!) Nifty fits that perfectly. It’s made a world of a difference to coordination in the team, makes it super easy to build estimated project dependencies and timelines, and most importantly is easy enough to use that you keep those estimates up to date!
Nifty is still early! There are some bugs and slowness, but the team has really impressed me with how fast they are to respond to feedback by shipping fixes or updates.

It's very easy to use, very intuitive UI. We have been using it since the last 2 years and have been following their development and growth since then, the team works hard and keeps adding useful, practical features every few months. We'll keep using this as it's very flexible to manage all kinds of projects.
Sometimes, some integrations break (for e.g. JIRA). However, the team has been proactive, and they fix it in a few days. One more con is sub-tasks need more options. And my final gripe is lack of integrations, it needs to talk with a lot of other services FULLY. For e.g. even though they say they have an integration with Slack, there's no way to customize what updates I get in Slack (I want updates when a task is marked as DONE for example, that's not possible).

Best experience I ever have in working with PM tools, and I have tried a lot, like: Trello, Asana, Ora.pm, Teamwork, Jira, Wrike, Monday, Basecamp... you name it. If you are using any of those apps already, I can guarantee you that Nifty is better. The Overview section is the perfect view to start the day, with an admin dashboard where you can see at glance everything that is going on. The Workload dashboard is the second place where you want to check if you have a team. The Project Overview is the best project dashboard I have seen in any other tool, where you can configure to include the project data widgets you want to see when you open the project. For any of the above, nothing better that check a Nifty tour in Youtube, for example.
Ease of use. Clear view of everything you are working on. Kanban and Agile are VERY easy to use, and still have ALL the functionality. Milestones configuration is supreme. Support is great and the team is very eager to accept suggestions and update the software accordingly.
The Task description area is the only thing I think it could be improved. It should be more prominent at first sight, and include a simple text editor. It is a minor CON though, and the good thing about the task description area is that it saves automatically (so, in case you click on any othe button or get out the task, the description is saved, no matter what.
