Pros

The features of Jira are very useful, help track multiple projects with ease. Helps a ton in collaborating with other team members efficiently.
Jira is pretty straight forward. Once you get used to how to set up a Jira, and subscribe to notifications it works on auto-pilot helps to get track of complex issues, resolution and monitor progress.
Slack integration is super useful and the ability to write JQL and integrating with Google sheet is immensely useful.

Pros

What would I do without it: very helpful software!!!!! I invested a great deal of time trying out a number of task management software and Microsoft To Do what is the best.
Was Simple to navigate , very reliable and supported all devices. Used to have many great features in the free version.
Wunderlist is a great, fun, easy to use tool that keeps everyone on the same page, and allows for easy tracking of different tasks with different user and subtask options.

Cons

It has limited number of software integrations. Error notifications can be annoying sometimes.
If you accidentally click on the wrong name, the submitter gets a notification when it is assigned, and then another notification when you fix this by assigning it to the correct name.
Sometimes Jira does not work for some time and that makes it hard to track work. It has server problems often.

Cons

I hate that they took this app away. I did switch to another program but I miss Wunderlist.
I gave it a shot for a week and was disappointed in its lack of functionality.
The drag and drop feature is terrible and needs improvement. Editing tasks should also be simpler.

This solves the problem of keeping up to date on development and support work being done. It make it easy on projects that has many simple and complex task deliverable.

Pros

You can access easily with single sign on and setup notification on jira tickets that you need to be updated on changes.

Cons

When you try to export to Microsoft Excel you can get error message if you do not know what exact format to export.

Project management made easy with Jira

We are able to build projects into JIRA and assign tasks to the team members and monitor individual progress. We were using Microsoft planner in past but that product had limitations that Jira is able to do really well.

Pros

Jira is a widely used project management and task assignment tool. We use this tool to monitor and assign all project task from beginning to end. We are able to create alerts and due dates for project tasks.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons, the software does what it’s intended to do.

The tasks can be easily followed up, there is no need to call someone or write an email to understand where you are on a project.

Pros

You can create your flow with its tusks and sub-tasks and manage all the business processes in your organization.

Cons

I would not say I do not like, but I would prefer Jira to be synced with the Microsoft Teams, so photo and position of your colleague will be easily traceable.

This application has every one of the highlights you really want to keep nimble improvement on target. For individual stories you can produce reports like burndown outlines, and for group the board, you can screen responsibility.

Cons

Relocating a venture from Microsoft Team Foundation Server to Jira is an extremely tedious cycle. Coordination with different frameworks is fairly muddled.

Cons

Integration with other systems is rather complicated. Migrating a project from Microsoft Team Foundation Server to Jira is a very time-consuming process.

Using Jira has been a very positive experience for us from the start. We have grown significantly as a company and Jira has allowed us to work with our various teams across the globe simultaneously.

Pros

Jira is a fantastic platform that can offer an organization so much in terms of features and functionality. That being said, your Jira is only as good as the data that you put into it. Additionally, Jira is great for younger companies and startups that are strapped for cash as the user licenses are very affordable. You get a ton of software for not a ton of cash.

Cons

We use Microsoft Office across our organization and often compose documents and feature requirements in Microsoft Word. Jira doesn't get along nicely with Word, and copy and pasting comments / instructions into a Task in Jira from Word is a huge pain.

Nice reporting features. Exports the requirements well. Allows to customize the workflows. We have used several products in the recent past for requirement gathering, Jira is among the preferred ones (next to Microsoft's vsts)

Pros

It is a nice tool to manage yur requirements, user stories etc to drive your project in agile manner. It also has good capabilities in terms of managing Kanban boards and reporting burndown charts.

Cons

Does not integrate well with Microsoft vsts. There is some room for improvement in that regard.

My overall experience with JIRA was positive. I would highly recommend it over similar products such as Team Foundation Server (Microsoft), as it is easier to get the hang of.

Pros

JIRA is an excellent product for issue tracking and project management. It is very user friendly, especially for those who are not as technical as others. Our agile team used JIRA to create and track stories, as well as issues. We were able to visually see the progress and make sure we were staying on track!

Cons

There is nothing that I dislike about JIRA, however, we did not create sub-tasks on stories very often, although it might be useful for other teams.

Very powerful, but extremely cumbersome

I use Jira for project, task and risk management. It scales well, and some of its features are quite impressive, such as the ability to have dashboards that show cross-sections over many different projects. However, it has a steep learning curve, and even after many years using it, I find myself stumped when things don't work or when I don't know how to extract some information.

Pros

Jira can do anything and everything. Either with built-in functionality or through third-party plugins, it can do pretty much anything having to do with task and project management.

Cons

Jira is extremely difficult to use, to customize and to understand. It is not intuitive at all, and users often find themselves stumped when trying to understand its behavior or extract needed information.

Pros

Easy to create new tickets/problems/issue. Good tool to track the development process for the issues.allow cross team communication.

Cons

confusing for a new user.not good for small size organisations. Jira doesn't play easy with other Microsoft products such as TFS.

I love JIRA, I use it to track everything I do. I do wish it was easier to configure reports using more 'wizard' type templates

Pros

dashboard centralized data driven user friendly

Cons

too many add-ons that should be included Gantt chart agile boards difficult to use

A must for professional project management

Great experience, love using it and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Pros

Atlassian has created the most robust professional suite rivaling the likes of Microsoft and Google. Jira offers project management that is highly customizable, yet very easy to setup.

Cons

There at times is occasional hiccup and page refreshes are needed. The website layout is not customizable.

It is very simple to setup and start using. Task planning is very simple as well. Not as complicated as other tools

Cons

It is overall very good product but it is still not advanced as other task tracking apps like jira and all.

Excelent GTD software for personal and family tasks

I have been using this software for 5 years and it is my go tool for personal task tracking.

Pros

GTD methodology with automatic lists: daily, weekly, folder lists. Assign to others such as family members or coworkers/classmates. Attach files. Reminders. Recurrent tasks with customizable dates such as X days, weeks, months or years. Almost all for free. Almost unlimited lists. Custom theme. Use an emoji as list icon. Android and iOS applications. Android widget and quick add in notification dropdown list.

Cons

Not so complex software to be used for enterprise such as Jira for Agile. Paid features maybe not so good as other alternatives. Not so customizable for personal taste, only prefixed backgrounds with colors.
