Mavenlink just isn't the best project management software out there. I would recommend Trello way before recommending Mavenlink. 

Not my favorite project management software 

I wind up creating my own task list on paper, in Trello, or in OneNote so I can stay out of the software as much as possible.

Long story short, there are better project management tools out there. I would recommend using Trello and AirTable well before Mavenlink if you want a better experience for your team. 

Not my favorite project management software

Mavenlink is on its way. Using it feels like they began with good questions about how a robust project management tool SHOULD look and work, and began developing from there. The interface is clean and open and the tools you have access to are head and shoulders above "free" offerings like Asana and Trello.
