What is Trello?

Spreadsheets, emails, and never-ending notifications are major teamwork blockers that affect today’s business teams—no matter their size. Project assignments, tasks, and daily to-do’s get lost, transparency gets trumped, and people lose productivity in the shuffle. Not only do teams need to manage this constant overflow, but they also need to build projects, track progress, and achieve major business goals. What’s needed is a clear view of the entire process to keep everyone on the same page.

Key benefits of using Trello

- Trello backs up your data so it is retrievable, preventing permanent loss of data after the accidental deletion of a board, card or list.

- Your data is sent over a SSl/HTTPS connection so it is always as private and secure as bank data.

- Trello automatically scales to match the screen you are working on

- Search Trello using filters and advanced search to easily pull up boards, cards and members.

- Trello has an iPhone and Android app for on-the-go use.

- Use the open API to create you own plugins and extensions for Trello

- Use Trello stickers to express yourself and update statuses on boards and cards. Stickers include Taco the Husky, Pete the Computer, and many more. You can also upload your own.

. Trello has over 800 emoji for use in comments, checklist items, descriptions and elsewhere. You can also upload your own emoji with Trello Gold.

Why do users choose Trello?

What would users change about Trello?

Pros
So natural to utilize Very visual Price is correct Easy to add/eliminate individuals Search ability is superb.
The product has a good look and is easy to use. Regarding the integration of the processes, it is very good and agile with the other members.
Excellent software to maintain the progress as a team and achieve the targets as a team. Monitor the team's progress and a wonderful application full of tools helps us to do things right.
Cons
The accidental "drag/move/delete" is scary for us because you can accidentally move a card when you're just trying to scroll over on the screen and that can be problematic.
Fear of insecurity is a shortcoming of the apps. Some bad people can use this app for their ill purpose.
I HATE that i can not see the archived tasks on the calender as an option. Not being able to archive a task after you complete it and still see it on the calender is a bummer.

Works Great for Our Needs

Reviewed 3 months ago

Trello has been ideal for our company, as we all work remotely. Everyone is able to see the status of the deals in real time and pull documents that others add to the cards. It has made it much easier to manage real estate contracts and their multiple deadlines.

Pros

I love the check-list feature in each cardThe break down of boards, lists, and cardsThe custom fieldsThe fact that i can send straight to a card from my emailand the automated emails that pull the information off the cards

Cons

I haven't been able to find a way to make a calender that combines all of my Boards deadlines together so i have a master view.

As simple as it gets

Reviewed a month ago

Overall, my experience with Trello has been overwhelmingly positive. It's the go-to tool when you need a quick and straightforward solution for organizing tasks and projects. I've used it for personal tasks, work projects, and even collaborative efforts all the same, and it has consistently delivered a nice experience. While it may not be the most feature-rich tool, it excels at what it was designed to do – simplifying project management. If you need a no-fuss way to keep your projects organized, Trello is an excellent choice.

Pros

There is really no simpler software than Trello. It's incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. Whether you're a seasoned project manager or a beginner, Trello's straightforward design makes it super easy for anyone to get started. The drag-and-drop interface, customizable boards, and the ability to create and move tasks with just a few clicks make it a breeze to organize and manage projects.

Cons

If I had to point out a drawback, it would be that Trello's simplicity may not be suitable for extremely complex project management needs. For more intricate and advanced project tracking, you might find that other project management tools offer more comprehensive features and customization options.
