The timer is easy to use exept for the problems I have listed as under.
When I use it I am sometimes being warned that the connection is not secure and that there is danger for security leak. The timer sometimes stop working and I am unable to update hours. I miss the option to search a project with the total hours, and date from start to end automatically showing up. Instead I must select a date myself, with the possibility that I may forget hours before that date. Projects often run over a long period, with months between hours.
Hi Trude, Thanks for your review! You mentioned that you are using Project Hours in Safari on an iMac. The security warnings you are facing are likely due to a missing root certificate for TLS on your laptop or the date time on your laptop that is not always correct. This will cause these warnings and probably also the issue that the timer won't start. I can help you with investigating further if you like. Other clients have used the timer on an iMac with the Safari browser for years so I am confident we can fix this. You could also try the mobile phone app to track time if you like. What I like most is that it is simple to set up and use and that it offers exactly the feature set we were looking for, without the overhead of more extensive packages.
Most important improvement would be to be able to keep track of project hour budget consumption.

Simple and easy to use, low cost. Good service and adjustments made to our requests.
Simple an easy access, easy set up, can be used by all user at the same time
not really custom made but that is made up for by the service provided.
Thanks for your review! Indeed Project Hours is not custom-built for specific users. We aim to provide a generic set of features that meet most time tracking requirements. From conversations with (potential) customers we learn what their needs are. Based on this input we develop features that meet individual client's needs but that are also useful for other companies. track hours per project and in easy reports and obtain overviews without too much effort and forward them to whoever needs it
easy to use, incredibly handy in reporting and it saves me a lot of time so I can spend my time on other things. The support is also very good. Fast and clear answers. Thinking along to solve problems and thinking out of the box. We are a very large company and the application does what it promises. I recommend it to anyone who wants to keep track of hours in an easy way at a fair price.

Based on users' feedback we continue to add improvements to the current features like better sorting of data in overviews or when a user starts a new month in the montly overview, last month's projects are listed by default. Simple, straight forward way of keeping track of time spent.
Simple and intuitive to use, app is nice.
Lack of SEARCH function; we have many small projects and a SEARCH function would be nice in order to find the project. Also perhaps a filter of ACTIVE projects might have been useful;
Hi Andrei, thanks for your feedback! The search function and a filter on active projects are very useful additions to Project Hours. You can expect these improvements in the near future. By the way, in user management you can specify for each user which projects the user is allowed to use. That might help restricting long lists of projects for users. The solution is simple, completely web-based and far less expensive than the one we used before, which was more suitable for larger companies.
Simple and fast for keeping track of work hours in a small, project based business like ours.
I didn't find significant problems in structuring and using the tool.
Thank you for the review Hans Peter, we will keep improving Project Hours while keeping it simple at the same time, for instance with a feature that allows for specifiying multiple hourly rates per user.

Easy to set up, implement and about no learning curve. Users got it right away, and I got time registering in project from the very first day. All our employees started to use it right away, and it all is going smoothly.
Ease of use, versatile and not least complex to implement compared to the compeditors.
There is nothing "least" to like about Project Hours, it got what we need and saved us a ton of time implementing it.
Good to hear Project Hours works well for you, Thomas. We will keep improving Project Hours to make it even faster to enter hours, for instance by providing an integration in Microsoft Outlook.

I was looking for a basic and affordable way to register how I spend my time and found this gem. It gives me great insights and as a bonus it comes with a nice mobile phone app.
Easy to configure and use, the best feature is the integrated timer.
It has all the features I need and didn't come across any issue.

Could do with a few more feautures, like billing and calculating costs of project bij adding hourly rates of my co workers

Dankzij Project Hours hebben we een goed inzicht in de gebruikte uren, ten opzichte van de begroote uren.
De eenvoud van de app, voor onze mannen en vrouwen op de bouw.Iedereen kan op een simpele manier zijn/ haar uren bij houden.
Dat de tool niet te koppelen is aan bestaande administratie programma's

Positief, korte lijntjes met de maker van het programma zorgen ervoor dat issues en nieuwe wensen snel opgelost worden.
Heel gebruiksvriendelijk, eenvoudig te implementeren in onze organisatie van 100 man zonder issues of veel vragen.
Zoekfunctie in de app ontbrak in het begin, dat was vervelend voor de gebruikers. Is inmiddels toegevoegd.

Ik gebruik het zelf om uren bij te houden voor opdrachtgevers en als onderbouwing van het jaarwerk tbv belastingaangifte. Het programma levert wat het belooft.
Het ontbreken van de mogelijkheid te kopiëren van een dag naar een volgende. In mijn werk zijn het nuance-verschillen per dag en pas ik liever die nuances aan dan alles weer helemaal opnieuw in te vullen. Bij de kopieermogelijkheid per maand ontbreken de tekstvelden.
