Like I mentioned the tool is great but the support is so weak that we are currently considering switching to either ZOHO projects (we already use other services from the family) or ClickUp (recently used for a bigger project/client as it was wished for from client side). It is really a shame since we got used to it already.
The tool itself is great. We used many project management tools before including the big names like JIRA, but ended up with wrike and using it now for around 4 years already.Around 2 years ago the features / billing got more standardized which allows us to use some features we really wanted, but were too expensive before (because they were coupled with other ones with no use for us). Now the tool is very useful including proper timetracking, workflow management and useful asset commenting inside tasks.
Account manager / success manager change very often. While this is pretty common in SaaS environment, it is very annoying, especially if you make arrangements with you current manager and then all of sudden there is a new one and everything you discussed before is out of the window.

We've try for a least a year : 5pm, Asana, Wrike, Trello and Smart Sheet. Of those, ClickUp is the best.
Ease of use, fast learning curve and good support.
Email integration a slightly better search engine would make ClickUp perfect.

ClickUp saves me hours each day in my project management and was a breeze to master after using other tools.
ClickUp is a simple management tool that offers familiar views and easy enough for the beginner and powerful enough for the serious user.
I have yet to find anything not to like about this software. It makes Jira, Trello, Wrike and other Agile Management tools look like a joke!
Hey, Jason! Thank you for this stellar review! ClickUp is a completely unique platform created for users of all walks of life. We are so happy you are enjoying the views, the complexity, and the flavor of the platform! If you ever need anything, please feel free to reach out!

Click up has been a joy from day one due to its simpicity, flexibility and intuitiveness. Their development team puts out new features constantly based on real user feedback.
Clickup does something extremely well. Manament of tasks. I've tried almost all the great ones out there, like Asana, Wrike, Teamwork and Monday. Clickup is simply better and much more intuitive.
There's nothing I dislike about Clickup, but I would like to see the ability to assign budjeting features and a Gantt-view. This is planned before end of year though.

Goal-setting and tracking, project management, team management, task management, reporting, price-friendly, and awesome collaboration.
Intuitive, easy to pick up, integration-friendly, and beautiful. This is the only tool I've been able to get both my Family and Colleagues to adopt, happily.
I like it all, but it's not as mature as an Asana, Wrike, etc. -- for me, this is a good thing. If you're used to the heavier players, though, it's not the same.

- ClickUp's UI/UX is clear and simple but has great functionality under the hood - Superb free functionality - Frequent updates with a new features - Spaces functionality
Missing Wrike-style tasks' greed. When I have to control tens of tasks I need condensed greed tasks view. Gantt chart (I know that this is in development but still miss it)

After using different platforms over the years and taking several months to research and compare, Asana, Trello, Monday, Wrike, etc... we recently selected and implemented ClickUp. We use ClickUp to run our agency from prospecting to onboarding and more!
There is a lot to love about ClickUp! First, IMO was speed of understanding and implementation. The interface is super intuitive which made it easy to get started and customize. We are still finding new things to do with ClickUp that helps us to streamline our business and create repeatable (templates) systems and processes.
That it wasn't available years ago (LOL)!

Overall we really enjoy Clickup and feel that the company is responsive to suggestions. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs the power of Wrike but the simplicity of Asana. I feel that the things I need (workforce planning) are on the near-term horizon.
- Easy to use - Flexible but structured - Fantastic customer service - Willingness to consider changes - Slack integration that works - Email integration that works
- Reporting is weak - Task ids are random; I need sequential - No workforce planning (there's several tools that look like they should aid in workforce planning but they don't interact as needed, i.e., I estimate 4 hours over two days. Clickup should schedule 2hours per day. It doesn't).

We switched from Redbooth (and previously Wrike, Flow, and Basecamp) and found ClickUp to be superior in terms of features. More importantly, we are able to effectively collaborate on our projects now that we can see what everyone is doing and how everyone is involved.
We absolutely love the flexibility of ClickUp and how you can customize it to work with your own workflow. Even within the same team, we can all process our workflow in our own individualized ways. We love that there are different ways to view the tasks and data — from a list of upcoming tasks to a gantt chart, to being able to schedule tasks down to the hour... it's quite amazing.
We're still learning our way around the software, so it's just the learning curve. But we're always pleasantly surprised when we discover new shortcuts or ways of doing things.

Awesome Awesome Awesome. I hope they continue growing and improving the product.
I think we've tried most of the PM solutions on the market: Asana, Monday, Wrike, Teamwork, Airtable, etc. Clickup has been the best, by far. It's flexible and feature-heavy while also being intuitive and easy to use. I am so impressed with their dev team and their persistent determination to make their product better on a weekly basis - amazing! Their lists, Kanbans, calendars, gnatt, timeline, time tracking....the list goes on and on. I feel like we can use their flexible system to create any type of custom workflow for our products and I LOVE that!
I can't think of anything. They are constantly improving and making things better.

None really. Compared to our previous project management platform. ClickUp is a more complicated replica with fewer features.
The platform is very cluttered and lacks web proofing which is important for UX/User Journey Testing. It has no integration with Adobe Creative Cloud and is not user-friendly for design ops teams. We made the decision to move from Wrike to ClickUp and the result is, many of the above features whichwere automated are now manual again. The takeaway was, that instead of streamlining and simplifying thingsClickUp has made things more complicated for the design team. It serves little purpose for Design Ops.Wouldn't recommend this product for Design or Creative Teams.
We truly appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts. We're sad to hear that you have not found ClickUp helpful for your Design or Creative Teams, but we are committed to improving your experience going forward! A native integration with Adobe Creative Clouds is in the plans and our Product team is always excited to hear suggestions from our community on our feature request boards. We invite you to leave your comments and requests here for them to review! https://clickup.canny.io/ Have a fantastic day. 🌟

My workflow is pretty typical for a solopreneur. I have different kinds of projects that I put into different "Spaces" (kinda like "departments" or "divisions"). Then within each Space, I use the Lists (i.e. Lists of Tasks) to define a particular Project (yes, it may seem a tad confusing, but it does make sense within the platform). Then under the Lists, I add the Tasks for each step to complete...
ClickUp gets it right - and the price is unbeatable: currently FREE for most features. I am not a shill. I don't work for ClickUp. I am not an affiliate. I am just a solopreneur, ex corporate exec with a mania for organizing tasks and using technology to support my work process. I've tried Asana, Wrike (still have my very expensive yearly subscription...), Trello, Todoist, NirvanaHQ, Facile Things...
Haven't found any negatives. But you might find something.

It is an easy, simple and inexpensive program compared to other programs and makes it easy to perform many of the multiple and repetitive tasks
At first I used Asana, but after I used ClickUp, I had many advantages, including: 1- When I was doing recurring tasks for a client, whether it was daily, weekly, or monthly, he would help me quickly set up the client’s business and tasks. 2- The program has a high degree of automation that I did not find in many other programs such as Asana, Notezilla, Wrike. 3- When I installed it it was helping me not to use a lot of tools which saved me a lot of time. 4- It also helped me keep track of tasks between many different categories and teams because it helps manage everything at once. 5- This program provides free services up to 85% the actual cost of the program
Some of the few drawbacks of this program are: 1- Although the degree of automation is high and excellent, but it does not reach 100%, yes there is nothing perfect, but we trust you with a high degree that you reach the highest ideal degree, which is 100%, for example, you facilitate the process of creating the elements and tools that I suffered a lot during I do the tasks because of their complexity. 2- It is preferable to add other export options besides Excel, as well as unifying the dashboard to facilitate importing and merging data from multiple other sources, and providing design and export options with the need for high-precision automation and multiple tools.

Too much focus on customization is hurting the user experience.
The task management functionality is good. I think the configuration makes sense as well and the customization isn't bad.
Review & feedback features are lacking compared to other platforms like Wrike. The naming convention where projects are folders and lists are projects, etc. is awful. The training videos spend like 5 minutes trying to clarify this every time, and if that has to happen then it's a bad system. Changing the names is simple and would ease a lot of confusion. Tagging a list doesn't tag all of the tasks and subtasks, which is an issue for us since tagging is the only way we can review team member's workloads and progress. We also can't assign a list, which is a project (as explained by your team), so we can only assign tasks. Very annoying.

I love ClickUp. I honestly do. I was so excited to find a project management system that works so well for me since I'm a small fry who can't spend hundreds of dollars a year. I love seeing their rollout emails and seeing how customer-driven they are. I'm so pleased.
I went through about a dozen project management system trials before finding Clickup. I have a variety of intense projects that require organization, timelines, interconnected parts that are difficult to navigate without a system. A lot of the other PMSes cost $60 or so per month for a "team of 5" despite the fact that there is only one of me. ClickUp has Gantt charts which I need, the kanban cards that a lot of other people like, calendar integration with Google, an in-browser timer, to-do lists, daily schedules of what's due, etc., etc. And their development team is super responsive to feedback.
I wish there was more flexibility in their Gantt charts. For instance, Wrike has a larger variety of relationship types, and ClickUp currently only has finish-start functionality. I'd love that to be widened. I also wish there were more visual elements to planning in the chart. For instance, if I'm wiggling a schedule in the chart mode, I can't see the specific dates unless the date range is tiny. It would be cool if I could see a tooltip with the date range I'm selecting for ease of use. I'd also like them to have set dates for specific events date-locked so I can't accidentally push things past a hard boundary. All that being said, I haven't requested these functions yet, and these are minor compared to all the functionality and improvement in scheduling I've benefited from already.

I think the best thing with ClickUp is that every person on your team is able to see exactly what they have on their to-do list rather than sorting things in a certain bucket or category. I think also because you are able to organize different things in multiple ways it really allows you to organize all the task lists. Unfortunately, this makes it sometimes more cumbersome to hop around but the beauty is that you can sort and filter in a very powerful way so if you combine things with due dates and tagging the right people then it makes the tool very powerful.
This is probably one of the best to do lists or project management tools out there for teams that are very affordable and reasonable price. It also allows you to sort and filter things in a powerful way which makes it less cluttered like Asana or Trello. Although I do think those other tools do have their place in the world, but Trello is maybe a bit more for just a smaller one or two person team and...
My biggest wish is to be able to get Gannt charts eventually with Lookup. Seeing things on a visual platform or seeing how long things take will be a great way to plan release dates or when thing should be scheduled out a little further in time or earlier. Other than that the tool is quite amazing where it is. There's always improvement in little micro things that'll get updated but as far as the big features I think the only one that's missing is the Gannt chart for our business needs.

Huge amounts of time saved, and plenty of delight from the UI.
I love everything about ClickUp. I've used a large selection of alternative PM software (e.g., PivotalTracker, Jira, Target Process, Wrike, dozens of others) and ClickUp is my favorite of all of them. ClickUp has a robust feature set which matches all of my needs, including excellent hierarchical task management, time tracking, GitHub/Slack integration, configurable kanban/scrum workflows, etc....
Nothing. No, really, the software is really so good that I can't think of a single reasonable complaint about the product. If I really had to nitpick, my only unreasonable complaint is that they don't offer automatic migration from Assembla (yet), which has prevented me from transitioning over my final client who has hundreds of tickets they don't want to lose.
