As an e-signature platform, this is by far the easiest to use with the highest security in my experience. It is also very easy for clients to use.
I like that the security is top priority to prevent identity theft.
The fact that if you have two individuals signing, they both have to have an email address. Also, when selecting multiple documents to download, it does it in one PDF instead of separate ones.

Dotloop has been the best transactional desk software that I have used in my real estate career. The integrations between sales documents, e-signings, company files, and contacts is top notch.
I like the integrations with the real estate documents. Organizes and helps automate/populate data into the selected forms. Dotloop also has an e-signing feature.
Dotloop could have a better CRM built in. This added feature would make this platform a one-stop for organizing daily activities.

I has to use this software while I was on a team. I was happy when I left the team and didn't have to use this any longer. I'm sure it's a good program, just not to my liking. I had to figure out how to use other programs of this type, and this one I just couldn't get it right.
dotloop does allow for file sharing, but I found it to be just a little confusing. I just never really got the hang of it. I like other programs much better.
To me, dotloop was way too confusing. I don't like this software since I found it not to be very user friendly. I know that other people I have worked with like this software, but I could never quite fully figure it out. Not in my top 10.....

Utilizing Dotloop for my transactions allows for quick and efficient document sharing. Electronic signatures save clients from printing a hard copy, signing, scanning and emailing.
Uploading and sharing documents on Dotloop is super easy. You can adjust the specific order of your documents so that the most important ones are at the very top. Clients find it easy to use, they can electronically sign documents right from their phone.
Once I figured out that you can download multiple select documents at one time into one PDF it made things so much easier. It can be slightly confusing if someone you are partnering with creates their own loop so you have to toggle between two different loops for the same transaction to find certain documents.

All our paperwork and office processes are much easier to do, and much better organized
We are a small real estate agency that is switching to Dotloop from another platform. Even for me, who is not at all tech savvy, the learning curve was quick. None of this comes to me intuitively, so I watched their training tutorials on YouTube and then I called tech support numerous times with questions. Every time they were on top of it and answered my questions and straightened out any mysteries. Our broker is particularly pleased that now he has automatic and instant access to every transaction that is being processed, he doesn't have to track down agents to get the latest.
We haven't found any downside as yet. We haven't had any issues that weren't cleared up or corrected easily and quickly.
