Overall, Hemlane has made it easy for me to scale to a number of properties I never thought was possible as a solo property manager with very little external support (no permanent staff, only one assistant).

Well thought out from the design of the website and the intuitive access to the different features make it easy to keep track of tenant communication, managing maintenance and repairs, and finding uploaded leases.

A few outlier cases like collecting rent in full up front, finding numbers of past technicians, changing bank accounts can be painfully hard.

Excellent Price point, features, quick support responses, owners and tenants portal, and the ability to add 24/7 repair coordination and late payment mediation.

A few of the features take a little bit of time to get used to and on the financial reporting as a property manager my clients cannot see all of the financials unless I send it to them or download the report for them so a " all transactions view" would be nice.

It puts a direct line of communication between tenants and landlords that make payments and service requests a breeze.

Requests are responded to in a timely fashion, and when you a renter that is extremely important to avoid frustration.

I cannot reschedule or cancel then schedule showings, I cannot see all my property inquiries together for all my properties.

The software itself was user-friendly, allowing me to easily create team members and manage their access levels effectively.

If I had to put something here, it would be how many steps I have to take to retry a failed payment.

What is filled out when creating the lease, isnt accurately transferred to the actual pdf document.

The user interface is easy to navigate, more cost‑effective than other competitors, and highly beneficial for tenants.

I have the ability to refund the tenant and would naturally go through my own accounting to deem if a refund was warranted or not.

Sometimes the website is a bit slow to uses, I wish that under my zillows ads it lists my brokage instead of hemlane.

I am not confused about the payment processing safety trigger, however, I am confused how a tenant’s misuse caused my ability to receive payment to be put on pause.
