Still new to the software but the interaction to date has been great and the software was recommended by all of the referrals referred by Smartwebs, our bank and a outside consulting company specializing in HOA's.

The seamless integration with our third-party accounting software eliminated the prior problems we had with inconsistencies or errors in names and addresses when information was entered manually.

The ARC functionality should be added to the app so that we can verify in the field and upload a photo and close them instead of having to close them on a desktop.

The one feature I would like to see that isn't available is for architectural submittals . When requesting “more information” on an architectural submittal this is automatically placing the request on hold.

I love having a paper trail that include certified letters and signatures when reviewing disputes with owners and the Board.

For starters, the letter templates ensure consistency in outgoing resident communication regarding modifications and our violations.

I use it to organize all projects for a high profile community of homes and it is so easy to customize how I want it organized.

I like being able to attach photo with the violations, keeping track of the violations, and the reminders.  

I find the process to modify anything in the CCR section extremely difficult and your support documents don't have a lot of detailed explanation.

Integrations with connect was quick and easy, I love the lay out and the way it functions, easy to send out decisions to the homeowners and read the form for notes from the committee.

The software is extremely picky and causes a lot of unnecessary emails between the management and residents.  Example- the system won’t pick up Lane vs Ln

Cons: Occasional slowness when a new release update is coming out, however we have noticed it is speeding up as the team ensured us they are working diligently to resolve this.

Violations - Once a violation has been processed, there is no way to completely delete that violation without contacting customer support.

ARC- If an application is being resubmitted, and the committee members have already voted, it shows their previous vote.

Adding Smartwebs to our business software moved our office out of the dark ages into an almost paperless environment. With files being easily accessed with a few clicks, we are able to decrease our response time.

The ARC module is a game changer in being able to track architectural requests and send the committee automated reminders without having to involve the manager.

Smartwebs automatically sends the approval or denial letters to the owners without me having to do anything extra.

I use it daily for work orders and compliance reporting.  

This can’t happen as that stops the clock and we need to ensure that the calendar clock continues.

We have the direct phone numbers of several senior level people and can contact them when needed.

This is manually inputted each time, but would save a lot of time if the text was also auto-drafted.

It can be a bit difficult to navigate the setup and I have lost some violation letters by not saving them right away.

The con of this software is in the ACR software - I do not like editing a letter multiple times.

We need a lot more items to be specifically worded in our violation letters that are too vague currently.

We do not like the violation system that much, it takes a long time to create a violation or update one.

The different capabilities it has and being able to work out in the field, on-site at a property.

Smartwebs could greatly benefit from better communication to the global admins, and while the response time on basic issues with Support has greatly improved, the response time on more involved issues has suffered and we find ourselves repeatedly following up on requests to get an answer.

It does not have an ease of access, and it's confusing to identify certain details on notices as its all clumped rather than marking the important.

Sometimes it does not link ARC applications and violations together, so it will show there are no ARC applications on a property and I will open a violation, only to find out when I am at a desktop computer that there really was an approved application on file.

The processing fee that is charged to homeowners as soon as the ARC is submitted and they do not have the option to pull that ARC back without paying the fee.  

Smartwebs made customized implementation and training for our community associations a breeze.

I also like that you can see any home with an open violation from the main screen.

The features that seem most impactful for me is the ability for several users to access it to process a task as well as the reporting.

I appreciate the features that the software offers, but the biggest issue that we have is issues with syncing with our accounting software to make sure the most accurate and up to date information is being used.

It syncs relatively seamlessly with VMS which is a major plus.

Therefore, it's very confusing to the committee because they think they have already voted, when in fact, they voted on the previous submission, not the re-submission.

When changing locations of documents where they are stored, they get removed form links on the "front part" of the website, and then you have to relink them even when you're just organizing the documents into different folders.
