I catalog my small collection with several other applications but I tend to prefer CollecOnline to the others.
Effectively few limitations on file size. Display of catalog is much more attractive and well designed than other products, and it is easy to navigate. Private data section is unique from what I've seen in other free cataloging apps. Sorting and ordering collections is much better now with visual drag and drop sorting. Better that previously when ordering was driven by a manually entered integer.
System seems to ignore line breaks in paragraph fields that are pasted in from text editors (like MS Word). I must edit the HTML to effect line breaks. This is my primary concern because this dramatically increases the effort to post an item. Other smaller concerns are 1) would like to see more characters revealed in the object name heading of the individual items in the collection view. This is apparently limited to 40 characters. Some headings span two lines in this view, but are truncated on the second line to only a few characters. Increasing to 50-60 characters might allow more info in headings without adverse display issues. Issue occurs in both gallery and list view. 2) Copyright mark in image is a little distracting but I understand why it is used and is really not a problem with me.

CollecOnline permet d'inventorier n'importe quelle collection tout en proposant un large choix de champs d'informations complémentaires, privées et publiques, afin de les regrouper de façon péréenne et intuitive tous les objets voulus.
Le moteur de recherche de CollecOnline n'est pas encore complet. Il n'est pas possible de faire une recherche par champs, par exemple, de rechercher "incus" dans le champ dédié aux fautées, soit à l'échelle du site, soit à l'échelle d'une collection sur un profil particulier.

Je suis tombé dessus un peu par hasard mais dès lors que je suis tombé dessus, j'ai laissé les autres logiciels que j'utilisais. Le fait de pouvoir consulter sa collection en ligne partout est également très appréciable.
Tout d'abord, ils s'agit d'un logiciel peu commun de gestion de collection car il en existe assez peu qui correspondent à mon besoin. L'ergonomie du site et sa facilité de gestion, de consultation est quelque chose de très appréciable. Et puis c'est un logiciel qui est vit, qui continue d'apporter des améliorations au fur et à mesure des besoins.
Franchement, aucun point faible me concernant.

Il nous permets de prévoir les cotisations perçues dans l'année avec une meilleure anticipation sur les impayés
Une grande simplicité, des possibilités de vision globale de l'ensemble des cotisants, avec une maitrise de radiations et des des nouveaux entrants.

La facilité d'utilisation le détail des différents champs possibles
Pour les minéraux : Le nom des espèces minérales proposées est loin d'être complet
