OrderGrid overview

What is OrderGrid?

OrderGrid is an AI powered inventory management and fulfillment platform designed for food retail and distribution operations. It integrates planning, orchestration, and execution layers on a unified real time data foundation. The platform offers demand forecasting, automated replenishment, inventory orchestration, and omnichannel fulfillment capabilities. It addresses perishable inventory challenges by providing location aware and expiry aware tracking across store locations, backrooms, dark stores, warehouses, and micro fulfillment centers while preserving data ownership and avoiding conflicts with aggregator services.

The planning module features AI driven demand forecasting that analyzes historical sales data and market patterns to predict future demand with precision and reduce waste while protecting profit margins. Automated replenishment functionality generates purchase orders based on current inventory levels and anticipated demand to eliminate manual ordering processes. The orchestration layer supports multi channel order management for owned channels, marketplace orders, and aggregator requests, manages menu publishing with dynamic availability, and optimizes delivery windows through slot capacity management. Real time task creation, routing, and assignment adapts to inventory location, staff availability, and operational priorities.

The execution layer encompasses warehouse management and store operations by offering receiving workflows, picking optimization, cycle counting, storage rebalancing, and fridge replenishment. A real time control tower delivers notifications, task management, and performance tracking, supplemented by AI driven insights accessed through natural language queries. The underlying data layer maintains perpetual inventory records with in location tracking, end to end lot code visibility, expiry management, and full traceability across the supply chain.

OrderGrid connects with existing retail systems through a secure API first infrastructure to enable integration with point of sale systems, e commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento, enterprise resource planning software, and delivery aggregators. It supports multi carrier shipping integrations with automated rate calculations and real time shipment tracking while synchronizing inventory and orders to maintain data consistency and ownership. The platform undergoes independent security and reliability evaluations, incorporates data encryption and regulatory compliance measures, and supports multiple currencies and languages for international operations.
