TrueCoach is, in my opinion, one of the best platforms for personal trainers who work closely 1:1 with clients and want a simple, powerful solution for programming and tracking.

TrueCoach wasn’t designed for that type of workflow, which made it harder to run a 100% online coaching business with a strong emphasis on behavior change.

The workouts were really difficult to customize on a bigger scheme across clients and didn’t have a lot of flexibility.

for myself the majority of my clients are remote and don't have a lot of disposable income. But TrueCoach allows me to work with them easily through the remote delivery, and the price point makes it extremely affordable to use it as a management software for them when building my own would cost significantly more.

I also love the exercise library, the ability to upload videos, and the options you have when writing/designing workout programs.

there isn't much to hate about the system, its billed and designed to be an individual design remote coaching software and it does that phenomenally. But I do feel it lacks the ability to easily integrate or deliver mass market programs, ie cookie cutter programs.

What I always have to do, is copy the entire description under the exercise, and create it in the other program by manually typing the exercise name, and then pasting the description.

Programming the strength work is simple and a typical 3 day program takes me no more than 30 minutes including the time I take to write up a program on paper before adding it to TC.

In particular, it makes it easy to copy/paste workouts so that I can make minor adjustments to numbers over the course of a few weeks as my clients progress.

I wish there was a feature in the app that has a list of exercises in case a client wants to add on to their workout so it shows up in their logged workout.

I have 24 clients and I wish I could pay per slot instead of in large groups because I have to pay for six additional slots that I don't use with a 30 person plan

The Exercise Library and the ability to add our own exercises, videos, and instructions is a big factor in choosing this app.

Love the existing exercise video library which makes it easy to prescribe remote workouts for clients as and when required (ie: when coach goes on break).

The coach side of the app is not user-friendly and never works on a cell phone.

The fact that a client needs to mark each section before completing a workout even if there is no result else it leaves a red cross and shows incomplete on the coaches side.

I would like for some form of volume and load management within the software as well as a more "open" means of inputting different data or information to clients.

If I click out of the screen while working on programming for a client, the system can be finicky and doesn't always save my work.
