My overall experience with using NAPA TRACS is a good one it is a great tool in keeping important inventory organized and kept track of.

At times it can seem make me feel frustrated when the system lags or it glitches & crashes.

Really not that big an issue, since you should be double checking anyways.

I like the customer support, email feature and the vin decoding when it works, the mitchell catalog is also a great feature when it works

There is a large delay when typing on all computers other than host computer my IT guy has even went as far as to install a new computer up graded routers with no results if we use the old system the problem goes away we have got no help from help line other than to say it's a problem with my hardware some real help would be great

Finding warranties , old notes - the way it keeps track of vehicle history has been a  huge blessing as opposed to going through papers in the cabinet, also it saving where the part came from.

Bugs in the system that cause vin decoder not to work at times, loosing tickets after you build them. Or when you close them when Invoiced.

When a VIN number is in TRACS and Prolink or Mitchell asks what type of model is the vehicle TRACS does not use all of the info on the VIN to add that answer to the other programs.

Full featured and handles most all aspects of your shop from estimate through invoice along with history and accounting reports.

The work order management is a great system and is a huge improvement from Napa Legacy.

We don't use the software to its full potential as we just use it for our inhouse vehicles tracking not outside customers.

There is no ability to apply bulk payments to individual invoices without going into each invoice and accepting payment.  

Returning parts is extremely tedious, lack of text features or built in DVI, most other cloud based softwares offer this inclusively with the cost of their software.

my customers depend on me to let them know when and what there vehicle needs and if a part is under warranty i can see when it was put on there vehicle.....

When making corrections it can be a litte confusing and a little more user friendly.   If this system could print old schooler mailer reminders for the user to send to customers

I have introductory pricing and ProDemand at a good price as a bundle    So that has been a good but once the price goes up I will end up paying for software features   I don't use        If there was a simple version available for a cheaper price with less features but still ties into Napa Tracs

The only issues we have faced are the lack of support for some less than familiar truck makes and models, and not every brand lists standard repair times for accurate repair quoting.

I use mobile manager to write new ROs in the parking lot but there are times I wish I could just pop open my phone and use it online and not be tied to a computer.

Your rep comes to you to teach you everything you need to know, you can keep an eye on all your repairs at the shop, you can use their ProDemand on the phone!

Some of the repairing procedures aren't efficiently conveyed to the customers, so filling in these faults within the system by adding more client support on the system.

At this point I want to cancel my services and cant because no one apparently has the ability to do anything to your account.
