They only gave (I believe) a 1 week free trial before asking you to sign up/pay with them, which is not long enough to determine if the software will work for you.

We can send proposals for project bookkeeping and tax, monthly subscription bookkeeping, one offs for tax or specialty requests.

Billed me for an annual subscription that had been closed for 6 months at the same time they billed me for a monthly subscription. When pressed about getting my money back I was met with total incompetence.

The switch from the old or original proposals to the new ones was a bit rocky, I wish this could have been done more on the back end with less complications for us users.

Onboarding process is very thorough, and their support team is extremely helpful.

The biggest pro for us is the automatic billing once a customer has signed and the fact that most customers do not ask about direct debiting they simply provide details and sign.  

I have another payment via credit card that was pushed back an additional day and we're on day 7 and I have yet to receive it. If you are tight on managing cash, ask the customer to mail you a check or use QuickBooks for the invoice, you will get your money much faster.

Ignition has been great for selling to clients, getting paid, and managing my sales funnel.

Client sees 'Company X has sent you a proposal'. As Ignition can be used for more than just proposals (i.e. BAS authorities), it would be good to change this message.

For general users I would like them to see only l what they have sent.

Coming from a different field, and needing to learn how to manage proposals/invoicing/payment collection quickly, Ignition has been incredible.

Ignition helps with cashflow management with payment options built into the proposal.  

The customer names don't integrate well with ProConnect and double your customers, which can be quite annoying.

The inability to add pricing variations dependent on different metrics per service line.

I love the ability to send a professional proposal and have the prospect sign up for services without having to reconnect.

I really appreciate how I can utilize the different updates and changes they make to the platform, but I don't have to take courses to understand how to use Ignition!

Makes managing credit control easy with the integrated payment feature meaning that new clients sign up for Direct Debit as they sign up as a client.

I am automating all of my billing for maintenance work for existing clients.

You also can't edit an invoice after it is issued from Ignition.

I can also see when they have opened and viewed the proposal. Once the prospect signs it initiates a work item in Karbon.

Ignition sends helpful emails like credit card expirations and payment failures!

In my opinion, this is excessive for an ACH payment and makes me concerned about their ability to manage cash.

Having my engagement letters stored in one area rather than sending them via PDF, getting the e-signature back and having to save the file on the shared drive saves me many hours.

Also, the recurring billing I don't have to execute each month - the system just does it.

This means that it is not always possible to reword a message that a particular client would find too informal.

Slow to process payments even ACH payments can take 7 business days.
