Pros

This is greatly used as this is a great place to save all the passwords and it will autofill. And also recommends when a new website is trying to create a password.
Keeper is an excellent tool for keeping your accounts (and all the data contained in them) secure, and it helps you create secure passwords without having to remember them.
Protection, ease of use, ability to share records with my account managers in the business and the price was good.

Pros

Easy to use, fast synchronization between devices, secure encryption, able to generate a strong password,s and best practice for sharing it. Password history is a good feature.
And it's amazing to see you get so much with the free version. There are some out there claiming to be the best but this is simple, intuitive, and easy to use.
Feels good having a reliable way to manage strong passwords. I've gotten to interface with some of their devs and they seem like a great bunch trying to make a great product.

Cons

If those users go on to leave the company, you will be permanently unable to edit those records.
My client sometimes create loads of entries without folders and they are heavy users then get lost.
The only downside for this is - even logging from the same computer after 30 days it needs a code to log in.

Cons

I am concerned about losing my password because it can be a huge problem not having it since it´s almost impossible to access Bitwarden vault again witout it.
Even if you need to pay for their premium packages, they're dirt cheap, coming in at $10/year for an individual or $40/year for 6 people.
There's nothing about the software that I dislike.

Best password manager

Reviewed a year ago

Based on the price the value is exceptional. Bitwarden is part of my workflow a long time ago.

Pros

Beside the fact that Bitwarden is completely open source and validated by security companies, it has a ton of functionality that really improves security at home and within an organization.

Cons

I can't really tell a lot. Sometimes I had to initiate the sync manually when I had to use the password between devices, but that is usually rare.

BITWARDEN: THE MASTER OF PASSWORD MANAGEMENT

Reviewed 5 months ago

Bitwarden is a long term solution for password Synchronization and management as well as an excellent tool to improve overall cloud data security.

Pros

Bitwarden takes password management to a whole new level. It unapologetically eliminates all the headaches of having to remember hundreds of password. Once I create/generate a unique and strong master password, my job is to keep it in a safe and remember it then the rest of the passwords are secured through its advanced security features such as access/permission control, password encryption, cloud data security, 2F authentication among others. Additionally, it automatically saves login credentials for all my online accounts and services such that when I want to access a particular website it auto-fills the login fields and I don't have to manually type the credentials each an every time I need access.

Cons

Bitwarden satisfies my passwords management needs, I've not encountered any downsides.

Safe but hard to use

Reviewed 3 months ago

Safe but hard to use. I can suggest this to the people who are giving importance to passwords. Besides, you can also take notes and save them for the future. But please don't forget the password of Bitwarden.

Pros

Security is on high level. That makes me feel safe. I also like saving any kind of my special datas.

Cons

I also use Google passwords and Bitwarden is not active like that. When I enter new details for a website, it appears on the top to save it but it gets lost too fast and I need to be fast to catch it. I would prefer to save the data without checking and confirming all the time.

A Lifesaver!

Pros

The fact that Bitwarden has never been hacked and its free and highly regarded.

Cons

Nothing. I got hacked 3 years ago. I needed to beef up my computer security. Passwords are the first and best defense. So, I lengthened my passwords to 20 characters. Originally, I was skeptical of PMs but now I can't live without. Since using Bitwarden, I have had no security issues at all. I highly recommend it.

Best confidential data keeper for easy and secure access of important data

Using regularly for storing confidential data and utterly satisified.

Pros

1. Can store all of my passwords at a single location. Just need to remember one master password. 2. Biometric security 3. Great unique templates according to the requirements like for credit cards, fields available are cvv, cars no, expiry whereas for bank accounts different ones 4. Locks your accounts for security if wrong password multiple times 4. Auto fill feature

Cons

1. UI can be made a bit more engaging and alive 2. Some more templates or integrations with companies for direct auto fill would be awesome

Bitwarden

Powerful password management at a good price, but with a clunky user interface and steep learning cu

Reviewed 3 years ago

For the most part, I like Bitwarden. Despite some of it's shortcomings, it is a powerful password manager, and with the ability to self-host your passwords provides a great level of security.

Pros

Bitwarden is a powerful and flexible password manager, with the ability to not just store basic password, but also one-time (two factor) passwords, non-password items (such as credit cards, identification documents, and memberships), and secure notes. Bitwarden has browser extensions for all of the big browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) that work extremely well allowing you to not only automatically...

Cons

The user interface is functional, but clunky. Being fully cross-platform, it has non-native look and feel regardless of the platform you are using. In addition, while it is great that their is a free tier, if you use two-factor authentication for your accounts that support it (which you absolutely should do!), the free tier is far less useful as it does not support two-factor one-time passwords. Finally, the self-hosting option is fantastic, but is relatively difficult to setup (especially for the non-tech savvy users). Self-hosting requires you to have your own domain name, an always on computer, and an understanding of Docker. Bitwarden provides a decent tutorial on how to set all of this up, but it is not for the faint of heart

Trusted solution that I have relied upon for over a year. I can provide access to others in my family.

Pros

Great free plan to get started. Easy to understand how it protects your passwords. Browser extension and phone app make it easy to access anywhere without compromising security. Easy import/export.

Cons

I wish the Bitwarden business model charge some small fee for the entry tier of service. It seems like they offer too much for free, which is a concern for continued operation.

A Good Allterantive to LastPass

Reviewed 3 years ago

It's a great app, with awesome features. It's a wonderful solution to add security for your users. I am very happy with the free tier and I am considering buying the business plan for the extra features.

Pros

Love the flexibility. It had a desktop app and browser extensions for most browsers. It's supported on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Bitwarden Send allows me to share files securely. Best of all, I can trust it because it is open-source and has been code-audited.

Cons

Organizations, its built-in scheme for password-sharing, took a while to get used to. It was less intuitive than the straight-up sharing passwords individually that other password managers do.

Central tool

Reviewed 3 years ago

Feels good having a reliable way to manage strong passwords. I've gotten to interface with some of their devs and they seem like a great bunch trying to make a great product. I have faith in the long term viability and success of integrating this product into everything we do.

Pros

Works well, security first development mentality, constantly improving. Other than an initial learning curve of integrating a proper password manager into my networked life, it's one of those things I kind of forget that I'm even using.

Cons

Security key on mobile is still "soon". Growing pains means difficulty prioritizing feature requests with a smaller team. Some edge cases can result in surprises, but nothing I couldn't fix with history. Biggest complaint is around prompting to save or update credentials. Seems like many websites don't follow conventions or standards and Bitwarden does not have as comprehensive of exceptions as some alternatives.

I would definitely recommend using password manager to everyone as using different password for each service improves your security a lot. And Bitwarden is one of the best on the market. I used 3 different tools for this and I stay with Bitwarden :)

Pros

Cons

There is no option to set a keyboard shortcut to fill in forms in web browsers. But this is only tiny detail.

Centralised Password Manager

Reviewed 9 months ago
Pros

Bitwarden is extremely easy to use across all my devices, my phone, on the browser and on any application that I want. My top favourite features are autofill, 2FA, and that it can automatically match URLs based of several methods such as host/domains.

Cons

The baseline of bitwarden security is on a master password for encryption, so in case you loss or forget the password there is no way of recovering it. This puts more emphasis on remembering and securely storing your master password.

BitWarden helps to configure and manage secure credentials on all of the sites that I use. It is highly recommended.

Pros

Cons

It very rarely happens, but sometimes username and password forms cannot be filled as expected. There is a very rare problem and doesn't happen nearly enough to impact my opinion on the product.

One to rule them all, One to find them, One to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

Reviewed 2 years ago

For me, it's an easy choice. Free + open source + encrypted with apps for phone, pc and extension for chrome means it's the last password manager I will try probably.

Pros

If you have not been using a password manager till now, then you are missing so much on security and usability. And Bitwarden is maybe the best one of them. Free, open-source, and with the ability to create passwords, easily auto-complete them and group them. Really you can't go wrong with this software.

Cons

There are a few times that the auto-completion of passwords does not work automatically (you need to manually click on the password from the icon) and sometimes on the phone, the app is not running and so you need to open it before it proposes you to fill the password.

Bitwarden

Current Best Password Manager

Reviewed 3 years ago

Bitwarden does what it sets out to do really well as a password manager. Being open-sourced means greater security as anyone can check the codes and report any potential issues, bugs or exploits. This is really important as you have to trust the software to keep your valuable information safe and sound, something not all of its competitors can provide.

Pros

Bitwarden is an open-sourced password manager that lets you remember and manage the many different logins you have. It lets you generate complex passwords that are difficult to guess even for other computers, which means greater account security and in the event that one of your password does get leaked, none of your other accounts will be compromised since you should already be using different passwords for different sites.

Cons

The greatest hassle of using Bitwarden is that you'll need to manually click on the Bitwarden extension icon to start the auto-fill process, something which other competitors may have better ways to deal with this.

BitWarden is Robust, Feature-Packed, and Secure, Delivering a Great Product Even at the Free Tier

Reviewed 2 years ago

BitWarden is one of the most user-friendly and feature-packed password managers. The free plan offers unlimited storage, multi-device sync, and world-class encryption. It is built on open-source code and regularly audited by third-party firms for its security performance. As counterintuitive as this sounds to people not steeped in tech, transparency on the source code makes a thoroughly more reliable...

Pros

I love the cross-platform sync and compatibility: multiple devices and different browsers are no problem.

Cons

Autosave and autofill features could be improved, but the bumps are minor.

The best free password manager in the market

Reviewed 2 years ago

I always tought using a passowrd manager would be a hassle, but it wasn't. I've been using it for many years now and don't even give it any tought; Bitwarden is just a seamless part of my personal and professional workflows. I even suggested it to coworkers and family members who are less tech savy then I am and it worked very well for them as well.

Pros

I absolutely love the simplicity and ease of setup of Bitwarden. It is so simple to use and is very stripped down of unnecessary features. I also love the fact that it is open source, which all security software should be in my opinion. It offers certainly the best free tier of any other provider, so if you don't intend to pay for a password manager or don't need any other advanced features, it is certainly the best.

Cons

I believe Bitwarden lacks certain features that other providers offer in their paid tiers (and that is why I am still not a paying client). I also believe the two-factor authentication options should be more broad, as none of the ones avaliable work for me.

Does all that I need it to do and more, I will definitely be using if for years to come.

Pros

- Simple, intuitive, easy to use software that has a great security reputation (open source!) so you can sleep well at night knowing your passwords are safe - Wide compatibility between iOS, Mac, Android, Windows, different browsers etc meaning you can easily access your passwords anywhere - Supports biometrics meaning you can quickly log in and access your passwords - Extra features like secured notes, password generator, autofill etc which are all added value in a free software - Small annual fee to support developers will also grant you extra features, but these are just extras and not necessary

Cons

- Password generation could be more smooth so that it autofills, instead of having to copy the generated password and then after x amount of seconds the clipboard clears due to security measures and then you've lost your newly generated password. I would prefer it autofilling the newly generated password - On Android app, be able to select passwords directly in the field instead of having to enter the vault and select them there, fewer steps would make it even quicker

Bitwarden

Sharing and self-hosting, at a winning price point

Reviewed 4 years ago

After using Keepass for years, the need to share customer credentials in case of the "hit-by-a-bus" scenario led me to search for a solution. Bitwarden had the self-host and open source features I sought. Have been running a BW server in Docker for over a year, and most of my customers now have read-only access to their subset of my password database.

Pros

Bitwarden has been audited for code security. The pricing model is very fair and affordable by almost anyone. And you can self-host if you have the need to keep all your data internal. Passwords can be organized into folders, and shared as collections with privileges set by user. You can store credit cards as well. It has an extension or app for every major platform, and auto-fills logins on web pages and in phone apps. It also supports 2FA.

Cons

Setting up users to share collections is a little complicated. It could use a little work on user management - admin should be able to reset user passwords.
