Pros

It also includes a very handy password generator I love to use when creating new user accounts everywhere. It is the single best password manager I have ever had the pleasure of using.
I love the ability to store all my passwords and other login information in one place. This is especially true for me because my organization requires frequent changes (for security reasons).
Super easy to use and you only need to remember one master password, that is a huge help. You can also use the strong recommended passwords because you don't have to memorize them or write them down.

Pros

This is greatly used as this is a great place to save all the passwords and it will autofill. And also recommends when a new website is trying to create a password.
Keeper is an excellent tool for keeping your accounts (and all the data contained in them) secure, and it helps you create secure passwords without having to remember them.
Protection, ease of use, ability to share records with my account managers in the business and the price was good.

Cons

I've had trouble with it logging me out for no apparent reason. Can be frustrating at times as you need to login to something quickly and this slows the process.
There is always the danger that the user will forget their are master password and that would render the software more than useless.
We're currently looking into switching because we've lost trust in Lastpass. Who knows what negative changes they'll make to their business practices in the future.

Cons

If those users go on to leave the company, you will be permanently unable to edit those records.
My client sometimes create loads of entries without folders and they are heavy users then get lost.
The only downside for this is - even logging from the same computer after 30 days it needs a code to log in.

Best, most efficient password keeper out there!

Pros

This app and software is so easy that once it is set up you no longer even think about making strange and unique passwords. It syncs automatically across all my devices and even AUTOFILLS on websites that I visit frequently and need passwords on.

Cons

It does take a while to set up and load all of your existing password but once it is set you really don't have to maintain anything at all.

No more "forgot you password"!

Reviewed 7 years ago

LastPass are so simple, in fact, they take a human habit - put things together - and do it for one of our most important faces of our digital lives: The passwords. And it works so fine, i never ever have to use a "note"to save a password again.

Pros

LastPass is a sensitive resource for business and ordinary people. More than a passwords keeper, it generate passwords, allow to segment in different files and folders.

Cons

Sometimes when you restart or update a browser which it installed, is necessary to login again, and sometimes we also forget lastpass password!!!

Last Pass Secure?

Reviewed 4 years ago

I would pass on this one, there are other much better programs to save passwords, keeper and dashlane are two that come to mind.

Pros

I suppose from a technical aspect this software does what it is supposed to do with regard to saving passwords but that is about the extent of it for me.

Cons

I really do not like the set up with this- the multi factor authentication is a pain, they send multiple texts and emails and the like and its more trouble than its worth.

Keep doing what you're doing, your software is amazing to use and gives me peace of mind.

Pros

The best password keeper I have used so far on the market. I have been hacked a few times while using other password keepers, so far this has been the best. No hacks.

Cons

I would love to be able to have a fingerprint scanner option that locks your vault when using on your mobile. Just a thought. Not a con.

A small price to pay for an enterprise password security solution

Reviewed 6 years ago

Security.

Pros

People are terrible at remembering passwords. They're even worse about creating passwords. LastPass takes the guesswork out of both. By having a solution that allows for the secure creation and storage of passwords, the most significant vulnerability in our organization is taken care of. I like that I can shut down accounts of employees after they leave us. I like that there's so much policy control- it prevents bad things from happening at the source. Integration with active directory makes it even more seamless, as it makes identity federation possible. My staff loves that they only need to remember one password; I love that hundreds of their passwords are secure. It's also a great way to share passwords without compromising our systems.

Cons

I guess I wish it cost less (though four bucks a user is pretty reasonable). Lastpass is, with a few exceptions, a single function tool, and the costs add up.

It really really helps me do something we all should be doing: keeping our passwords secure and safe. After the initial setup, I now have versions on my computer and iPhone and have access to my passwords for any saved site, at my fingertips. I just feel safer.

Cons

When you share a password wiyh someone they have to have lastpass to view it. Been on the agency side where a client shared the password but i had a different password encryption and password keeper software.

Security and sanity

Pros

Very secure, very flexible, with sharing and one time passwords, autogeneration of passwords is a really nice feature and it offers to tstore it immediately after it creates it.

Cons

Difficult to use (no fault of theirs) since every site on the internet is built differently, but misses many sites and publishes all passwords under the main domain instead of host header, so you get 20 results for 1 website.

LastPass

Indispensable, essential security tool, but still has some quirks.

Reviewed 7 years ago

Peace of mind. Security.

Pros

Everyone needs unique logins for every website and service we use. This is the easiest to master tool for creating and managing passwords or across devices that I've tried. It's also the least expensive. The pricing tiers (basic essential tools are free) prove that LastPass as a company is committed to making the Internet a safer place for users, not just to make money. Advanced functionality is paid for by the companies that need it, not by average consumers. This makes me loyal, and I've paid the yearly fee even though I don't absolutely have to. Customer service is also excellent and responsive, particularly on Twitter. LastPass has also finally addressed some UI problems with their iOS app.

Cons

Logins and passwords are not always captured, or saved. Doesn't happen very often, but it does. In addition, I have an ongoing problem with WordPress.com. My main account is on the subdomain, en.wordpress.com, but when I go to simply wordpress.com, LastPass doesn't list that login as one of the saved ones. Very frustrating, and hasn't been solved in the years since I reported it.

Lastpass is an essential privacy and security tool.

This is an essential piece to every companies security. LastPass should not be optional for any business that values security.

Pros

Reduced all my passwords into one single sign on. This has allowed my coworkers and I to use randomly generated, difficult-to-crack passwords for every website or tool that we use. This means that if one website is compromised, the rest of our data is safe. Everyone should use this.

Cons

I'm not sure if it's my own fault or not but I wish it worked better with my Touch-ID/Face-ID on my Apple devices. If it could be a total native replacement for Keychain I would be ecstatic.

Lastpass Review

Reviewed 7 years ago

Overall, this is a good product that I have found very useful at work. We are required to use it to help ensure that our data is secure. It is so nice to be able to have the program generate passwords for us that are more secure. Sometimes, though, the passwords that save in Lastpass for one reason or another do not trigger the correct site, or they will save a password that is not updated. I will admit, though, that this could definitely be because I am not using the software correctly and to its full functionality.

Pros

Security and convenience.

Safe place to store my passwords

Pros

LastPass is all about security. Now I do not hate to keep all my passwords in my head. When I create a new password or need login details for the service I used long time ago, I use LastPass. More than that - LastPass offers a super safe way to share passwords with your friends or family, or work.

Due to security issues LastPass can ask you for security code more often thank you expect. That's the only cons-thing with LastPass.

Employee leaves and the employee didn't give you access to his vault, you lose access to everything even though you are owner of the business account. This is super broken and almost caused us to cancel and move back to a competitor who doesn't have this logic flaw.

Convenient and time saving password keeper

Reviewed 4 years ago

Overall, it was easy to transition our whole company over to Keeper. The vault is easy to organize and navigate, and the extension is a lifesaver when it comes to efficiency.

Pros

Our company switched from LastPass to Keeper to cut costs and I've found that it functions just as well if not slightly more efficiently. The browser extension for Keeper makes it quick and easy to log into any platform - it autofills passwords a little more seamlessly. It was also very simple to transfer passwords from LastPass to Keeper using an excel sheet or by logging into the account. The vault is easy to organize - it's easy to find what you're looking for and makes looking through a plethora of login information less daunting.

Cons

The extension wasn't very intuitive at first - if it doesn't autofill (which it usually does) then you have to click around the little extension popups to find the login you need. That's the main thing I preferred about LastPass - it made it a bit easier to look through possible logins and pick the right one. It's a very small critique!

Best password manager I've ever used

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

I've used LastPass previously, and while I don't have any knocks against it, I tried out Keeper a couple of years back and it blew me away with how easy it is to store and recall my login details.

Cons

I wish that the mobile interface was a bit neater. But I rarely use that so I don't have any major complaints.

This is the only password manager I like on mobile.

Reviewed 6 years ago

This is a daily use product for me and the only one I truly like and feel is useable on a mobile device.

Pros

Keeper is so stupidly easy to use on mobile. I also use LastPass on MacOS devices but I do not care for the mobile app AS much. Keeper is by a long shot the winner for me. Every time I get a new phone I can get my passwords back. fairly simple.

Cons

Speaking of new phones, while it is mostly easy to get passwords back for a new phone, I usually do forget how to do it which leads to panic for a few minutes until I remember. I wish maybe there was a bit more direction on getting things up and running on on a new device or on a reinstall.
