What is opConfig?
opConfig is a network management platform designed to help enterprises monitor, track, and document changes to device configurations. It facilitates disaster recovery, troubleshooting, and risk and change management for devices present in a multi-vendor environment.
Network engineers can collect and backup configuration data from software or hardware and maintain a history of changes for comparison and audit purposes. opConfig includes a compliance policy engine, which allows supervisors to implement rules based on predefined industry standards. IT professionals can organize multiple commands, create command sets for root cause analysis of faults, and raise alerts for further investigation.
Using opConfig, administrators can set up role-based permissions for users and remotely view and track device configurations without logging into the device. IT teams can push configuration changes to devices, store the data for rollback, and detect failed configuration pushes. Users can also automatically import and maintain audit data and schedule compliance tasks using tags.
