Pirate Ship vs XPS Ship Comparison

This software is good for people shipping 1-2 packages a month and don't want to go into USPS to save money. Beyond that this software is complete trash.

Everything about this software and customer service is garbage. Anyone doing any real amount of shipping that uses this platform should look at stamps.com, XPS Ship, or any other software.

The cost is a huge upside to Pirate Ship.

I don't like the "fee" associated with it, but otherwise it's fine.

Previously, I was going to the post office to ship out different items individually - Pirate Ship made it insanely easy to ship individual items at a significant discount

I would like to see cheaper prices for things that are very light to ship (i.e., 1-2 oz.)

Pirate ship is really easy to use. I was worried that it would be hard to figure out the correct way to ship things but pirate ship makes it fool proof.

There aren't really any cons to pirate ship. I have been using it for about a year and never experienced any issues when shipping items.

I was recently recommended pirate ship by several other Mary Kay Director's and consultants who have been using it for a long time. I ship a lot of customer orders and the costs with Usps just keep going up. When I use their online site you can only ship priority where pirate ship gives you choices for great ways to ship at great low prices! Customer services is wonderful with Pirate ship they are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend using pirate ship.

The only feature I found missing is an address book where I can store my regular customers addresses to reuse them snd have them auto fill the form for repeat shipping.

I use Pirate Ship every day to ship merchandise to my customers. It's great, easy, and I save money.

There's nothing bad about Pirate Ship, I love it.

Shipping is a breeze with Pirate Ship! Simple to use, great pricing. Never any issues with printing out shipping labels. I ship USPS, but now I save money using Pirate Ship.

I used Pirate Ship to ship packages to family across the country. It helped to save me money on each shipment.

I just wish that the shipments showed in my USPS account so I didn't have to type in the tracking numbers.

I like that it does not take long to set up an account and that it is free. You can easily ship a single product or multiple. The steps are easy to follow and there is no real work involved other than entering the necessary information.

I do not have anything negative to say about this product. It is easier to ship with Pirate Ship then the USPS.

I like that Pirate Ship is an application that I can buy discounted USPS in order to ship materials to my clients.

I dislike that the application is not always the easiest to navigate on a desktop computer.

Pirate Ship is very easy to use and if you ever need help there are representatives available to assist you. The organization of locating the labels is great and easy to find. The pricing options are available for you to compare pricing and select which shipping option is best.

As a small business owner I do not have any cons for the Pirate Ship software. Nothing negative to say about Pirate Ship.

Pirate ship is a great choice for startups to ship their customer orders for free and gain access to excellent USPS rates.

Rates are pretty standard wish they were a little lower but the software is very good especially being that it's free.

Easy to navigate and ship products. I also love that I have the ability to track packages to see when they arrive to their destination.

I always seem to get tripped up on how to add a group of addresses to ship stuff to. I am sure this is user error though.

Pirate Ship is a great tool for sellers that are small to big alike. If you go to the post office you will likely be charged more since you don't ship enough for USPS to give you volume discounts. Pirate Ship gets the volume discount and the savings are passed into you. Further it integrates with some popular sites for easy label making.

It would be cool if they expanded to other shipping companies, but often I find that USPS still provides the best value so its not that big of a deal.

Integrates with my stores easily & offers access to the best postal rates. Not to mention top notch customer service.

I switched from UPS and Fedex to Pirateship when we down sized our business. They have saved me so much money and their customer service is top notch

I love that XPS integrates with my website to import all our orders. While other competitor products have this feature, XPS integrates seamlessly and reduces time in our shipping process.

I really wish that XPS had greater analytics or reporting into our shipping costs, common shipping locations, etc.

XPS has better rates than PirateShip :) We also have better software and live customer service.

The software is Intuitive and comprehensive

Definitely the biggest problem with XPS is that it will not allow us to integrate the two separate UPS accounts that we have--it only allows integration with one UPS account at a time. Other shipping software (e.g., Shipstation and Pirate Ship) have this functionality. For this reason and this reason alone I am looking at switching away from XPS.

I can find nothing wrong with it, works perfectly for my use.

The software is user friendly and can be modified to fit every user/business. Customer service is always available to help, great customer service.

The only con I can say is there is not an option to ship letters postcards.

I love the ability to interface directly with XPS ship from the customers order page. This avoids duplicate effort and ensure to ship accurately

I do not have any negative comments to make, I have used the system for years and have not had any issues.

International shipping can be difficult. I primarily serve U.S. but will ship to Canada.

The transparency of using USPS and UPS for various sizes and dimensions is very beneficial and straightforward for customers.

i can’t think of anything i dislike honestly. There were a couple things that I needed to ask questions about but the team responded quickly and now i know how to use it for all of my purposes.

XPS is easy to learn and works smoothly with our orders from Shopify and Etsy. I love the option to process batch orders, and the ability to create scan form for drop off at the USPS. Rates for USPS are great!

I’ve found my rates for UPS or FedEx are high, but this may be in relation to the type of account I have with those carriers.

XPS ship is easy to use, the support when we make a mistake and need help is superior!

The only issue I have is pricing of non-priority mail items. I know I can go to the post office and get a cheaper price on shipping a 9x7" manilla envelope. I would love to be able to integrate with our software. Rain software
