17 years using this for audio production for radio and podcasts. I have thought it in college and students love it once they get used to it. It is simply a genius piece of software and you can transform audio that is of low quality with a few tweaks here and there.
Whether you are looking for a simple audio edit or a complex multitrack session Adobe Audition has it all. I've been using this since it was called Cool Edit Pro in 2004 and it only gets better with age. Once you get part the overwhelming feature rich UX you are going to love this software.
It does have quite an extensive amount of features and therefore it can have quite a steep learning curve. Probably not the best software for the none techie who isn't intimidated by loads of buttons and options. Apart from this, I love Audition.

Adobe Audition has incredible presets and effects that make editing so easy. Plus, learning the shortcuts and the ability to create your own shortcuts, makes editing quick.
The price. $20 feels pretty steep. I wish there was an option to buy the software outright and then pay an upgrade fee for newer versions.

It is loaded with features and settings which scale with the experience of the client. Adobe Audition is truly astounding programming which helps to eliminate distortions, enhance the sound and upgrade the vocals, it covers pretty much every element for sound engineering
I like its advantageous and natural interface with multifunctional and numerous settings. It helps me to normalize the and eliminate spikes of high noise or increasing the volume in zones that sound too low, it surely helps me save a lot of time with the help of shortcuts imbedded in Adobe Audition.
It requires a powerful computer and it has a high ram consumption

I've used Audition for the past 5 years to record and produce my podcast, Feasting on Design. During that time, the ability to record, edit, and master audio files have come a long way. By no means am I an expert in every facet of Audition, but I've been able to master the basics of what I need to do to produce the podcast.
The ability to record, edit, correct sound, and gain issues has made my life as a podcaster so much easier. I'm able to produce my podcast and master it using a single platform. The audio editing tools alone are worth the price, but when you add in noise reduction, and several other features you have a powerhouse of a program that is capable of so much more than I could ever dream of.
There can be a steep learning curve if you aren't familiar with non-linear editing. Learning to utilize the tools that I needed required a bit of research. It would be nice if Adobe set up a tutorial library geared toward different users from hobbyists to pro-level users.

Audition solves the problem of "time". Who doesn't want to save time?! Import my files, quickly work out my arrangements, cut and paste at will, add plug-ins seamlessly... what more could you ask for!?!?
I love the ability to import audio tracks from my DAW and then mix in Audition. The process is seamless and much easier than staying in my DAW. I also use Audition for theater productions. I load up audio tracks and set queues which I can then access just by pressing a number and hit play. It's a great way to have a complete theatrical soundtrack at your fingertips and then be able to play it live.
Literally nothing. There is just nothing to complain about with this software. I've had it forever and I'll use it forever. Make it cheaper? :)

I have loved most of the features,i enjoy using Adobe audition and easy to train the interns with because their features are not complicated.
I like it mostly that one can merge different audios however they want. The fact that files can still be exported and imported to this app, edited and played timelessly.
It's the best tool for editing audio but not everybody can afford especially the individual users .A bit expensive .

Audition is a very versatile software as it has powerful tools for professional sound production and I highly recommend it because it is easy to use and offers advanced mixing, editing and sound effects features.
With Adobe Audition CC, you can record multi-track sessions, edit audio files, create music, mix audio tracks, create and edit soundtracks, and more. Audition helps you easily remove unwanted audio elements, as well as fix dialog and production audio. It also lets you work with the industry's leading formats.
It is expensive and you must practice to master its use.

I've tried a lot of audio software during my time as a journalist and audition trumps the lot. Perhaps I'm stuck in my ways (can't teach an old dog new tricks) but it does appear to be the best overall. As mentioned before I love the microphone settings and the ease in which I can make a £100 microphone sound like a £1000 microphone, this is great! Its multitrack editing is awesome and easier to use than pro tools and the like. That said, I've not used audition for music creation or instrumental editing. So my view point is that of voice and trail/promo, interview creation only. I'm sure pro tools will trump adobe when it comes to music production.
The detailed microphone compression settings is without a doubt the best function of adobe audition. It's also great when you need a clean up audio hisses and pops, which can be removed easily.
I guess like most long time adobe users I miss the option of purchase over subscription. I originally bought this software 20 years ago when it was Cool Edit Pro, an expensive purchase at the time. Sadly now, like everyone else, I've had to resort to a monthly or yearly fee, over a single one off expense. So in conclusion, what I like least is the ongoing cost. I also find it a little hard to navigate at times, the help section could be better. A few more sound effects and presets would also be nice.

In my opinion the overall experience is generally positive. It offers a wide range of features and tools that cater to professional audio editing needs. I appreciate its flexibility, advanced functionality, and the ability to work seamlessly with other Adobe products.
1- comprehensive set of audio editing tools .2- support for various audio formats.
1- hard of using for beginners.2- high price compared to other audio editing software.

Adobe Audition is a great software for people who have prior experience with audio/video editing. it has all the features you could need! The price isn't the cheapest but you get what you pay for and in the end Adobe Audition is worth the price tag
Adobe audition has so many features others like audacity doesn't have. It allows you to do so much more with your audio files. There's almost an endless amount of edit tools and effects. I did enjoy how much freedom i had and how much detail could go into my voice-overs!
The price can be a bit much and I should also mention that this software is not for beginners you defiantly need to come in with some sort of base understanding of how to edit audio/video files. It can be very overwhelming for anyone just starting out plus I feel learning with a free program is better so you know what things you are looking for in a software that you pay for.

It's a good program for complex and simple audio editing, being easily incorporated with other Adobe programs.
I use it mainly because of it's integration with the other Adobe apps, Premiere Pro and After Effects. It's easy to create tracks and record audio in a multi-track composition. It's good for complex and simple projects.
It's price is a Cons. Audacity it's also a great product and it's free. I don't use it in super complex project so I don't know which is beast, but I know both are good, while one it's paid and the other it's free.

It's a great software for basic music production and for beginner level... You can still achieve pro work with adobe audition too.
Low latency in Live mode for podcast and the easy multitrack layout. The tools are just amazingly easy to understand. The mixer section has good send functionality.
Nothing except the display design. I feel more should be done on giving a pleasing design rather look.

My experience with the program initially helped me a lot in making a lot of soundtracks differently for a lot of different projects. There are many tools and effects that I can easily control and influence the audio clip and make it a professional audio clip.
From my point of view, this program is very useful because it has powerful tools that help create your audio clip in a very powerful way. It is capable of cutting and installing audio and removing noise from any audio clip, as well as adding many distinctive effects and manipulating them however you like, which makes the audio clip very professionally for any project Whether it is located in a movie, a game, or anything else.
From my point of view, the program interface seems difficult because it is designed in a confusing way for the user at the beginning of use. Secondly, the program is expensive for some people

If I have any issues I go to the Adobe website faqs or Youtube for advice.
Adobe Audition is the premiere audio editing software. From expert to the beginner it allows you to use it to do simple editing to complicated multi-layered tracks.
The cost can be a bit high when your first learning but it will pay off as you become more of an expert.

If I had one word to describe today's Adobe Audition, it would be "Disappointing." Thanks for stripping it down and increasing my workload and overhead.
The integration of Adobe products has improved workflow. I like moving seamlessly in and out of Premiere Pro.
Adobe's habit of dropping key features like dynamic EQ or pitch correction has left us with a bare bones UI that requires too many expensive plug-ins to make it useful.

I use Adobe Audition for all of my voiceover and podcast recording, mixing, and editing. It's always been a top-notch professional audio software that delivers the goods every time. It's intuitive interface makes it easy to edit, mix, and create podcasts from start to finish. I would recommend Adobe Audition to anyone who is looking for a great audio software
There are so many good things to say about this software. I have been using Audition for over 3 years and I have noticed that it has really accelerated my overall workflow. I am really pleased with how easy it is to organize my tracks, edit, rearrange, and/or modify them. The ability to work between applications like After Effects and Premiere in real time is also a game changer. Audition is an amazing tool that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who is looking for an audio editing software!
Audition has a lot of features that I like, that the price is worth it for me. But it isn't always easy to find where I need to go. I do lots of voice-over work and want to use Audition quickly and efficiently while doing other things at the same time, but often I get lost as to where I need to go and have to keep using the help features or repeated experiments to get the desired outcome.

Adobe Audition is fine for simpler use cases - for adding sound effects to podcasts and vlogs or simple videos, it's a perfectly good choice. And it's huge library of sounds is very much appreciated. However, for any in depth audio creation or sound composition, it is easily outclassed by most other audio workstations, including Logic Pro, FL and Cubase.
What I like most about Adobe Audition is its genuinely vast library of royalty-free sound effects, which can be easily acquired and dragged/dropped into an audio project. What also helps is that all of these sound effects that are freely available to use are high quality - something very rarely found in such a simple manner. Often free sound effects vary greatly in quality, so it is great to have so many good quality samples ready to go.
There are a couple of issues with Adobe Audition. Firstly, because of the sheer amount of good quality useable samples, it can actually be a problem taking the time to sift through them and find which one is most appropriate - merely a problem of having too many options, which isn't a bad problem to have, but it can slow down the process. Secondly, Audition is fairly restricted in its usability. For simpler audio projects (such as adding in a few sound effects to a pre-recorded track - perhaps a podcast or vlog) it is perfectly acceptable, but for any kind of composition or detailed audio creation, it appears to be lacking in features that other audio workstations have as standard. Logic Pro would be a superior choice, but it comes with a bigger price tag.

I have been using Adobe Audition for more than a year. Best audio editing software that I had used. We use Adobe Audition for creating podcasts, edit podcasts, mix audios, create audios and to edit audios. A brilliant software.
Best software that I had used for mixing audios. Very easy to use. That's the best thing I like in this software. Have lots of audio effects. Good for recording. Works well on Windows and MacOS too. A great audio editing software.
Little bit expensive, but a great software. Little things not to like.

This software makes it easier for me when finishing my videos, by tidying up the music and sound that is easier because it is integrated with my main software, namely Adobe Premiere Pro for video production on my YouTube channel.
Adobe audition helps me to make music from scratch, or to edit and tidy up music or sound with my youtube videos. in terms of quality adobe audition satisfies me in both the mixing and mastering process.
This software is expensive compared to other similar software, but if you use other Adobe CC software, there is a full membership and I can use access to other software that is incorporated into CC.

Its been a great tool for our weekly podcasts. It delivers professional-quality podcasts. I highly recommend it.
It is a pretty stable software, good at eliminating distortions, adding sound effects, and producing high-quality podcasts with studio sound quality. It is easy to integrate with other tools and allows for fast export. It is rich in features and once you've mastered it, there's so much value that one can derive from it.
For new users, it may be difficult to navigate at the beginning due to its advanced functionality. The price is steep but the quality of the work is worth it.

The lower the value the faster the recording playback. accordingly, the higher the cursor on the slider, the slower the sound you will get the same effect as slowing down your voice or recording in general. In fact, all you have to do is select the desired value on the slider click apply to accept all changes and then export your file to the desired folder on your computer.
high-quality set of filters flexible and accurate editing and preview tools debugging allows you to correct and edit the audio for videos and podcasts allows you to create new sound effects there are all the necessary tools for professional processing of tracks Ability to edit audio in a separate window
very expensive high system requirements Some formats are not supported by standard, such as Apple QuickTime.
