What you need to get started

- Have your SSL certificate properly configured and use suitable hosting.

- Install our module in your platform and create the account.

- Install a language selector in your shop.

- At the moment Glotio does not support PrestaShop multistore.

- Launch promotion: the first translation into a language is free - up to 20,000,000 characters. After the promo, you can take advantage of further discounts. You are under no obligation to continue using the system.

Glotio translates everything it detects as translatable texts in your shop:

1) The translatable fields of products, image titles, categories, attributes, attribute values, manufacturers, suppliers, attachments, countries, cms, SEO/URL, etc.

2) The texts of the modules are stored in the database.

3) All front office translation files: front office translations, error messages, field names, installed modules, PDFs.

4) Translate each module independently. If your module is not supported, contact us and we will study your case.

5) Translate all the texts defined in the PrestaShop administration panel Localisation/Translation in Front-Office Translations, Translations of installed modules, Translations of E-mail templates (coming soon).

What doesn't Glotio translate?

- Images, infographics, banners, if there is text in the images.

- Videos

- If there are texts in several languages that are not saved in the database following the PrestaShop ObjectModel standard.

- PageBuilder, custom modules, Elementor.

1) After creating the account, Glotio downloads the texts, and calculates all the translatable characters in each language.

2) Before translating, you can decide the fields in Advanced settings, you can define words from your dictionary, and add words to your exclusions list.

3) You will be able to see how many languages you can translate into, including the characters of each language and the budget for each language. You will be able to choose the languages and accept or discard the ones you don't want.

4) Glotio starts translating and uploads the translated texts to your website.

5) Once Glotio has finished you can check your translation: remember to activate the language selector and clear the cache.
