incredible so far

2018-06-06

Pros

It has a very vast range of templates available online which can be found very easily. It is a perfect platform for programmers.

Cons

one thing you must consider before using it, you should learn to code first because it is not as simple as Wordpress or wix.

CMS that is fully customizable

2018-07-10

Joomla! CMS is one of the first out there, and it keeps improving. Support is easy to find via their active Open source community. The setup requires a little reading up, but once you get past this initial hurdle, everything else is easy to use, intuitive, and super flexible to suit everyone's need. Joomla! is also a good choice in teaching young IT and Web enthusiasts since it is open source and fully extensible and customizable. It will run on older hardware, and minimum requirement will not be a problem.

Pros

Joomla! has been around for decades, and the reason for such popularity and continued use is that it is easy-to-use and manage, it is open source and has a huge and active community that maintains it. The community provides extensive documentation, FAQs, and support for almost any question or issue you may encounter. Joomla! can be set up locally and easy to deploy to the Internet publicly. The security features have significantly improved through the years. This CMS comes with an intuitive dashboard. And there are many third-party integrations available for setup. Since this is open source, the elements are customizable to suit your needs.

Cons

May be not as easy to set up as Wix or Weebly.

a nice option if you're looking for a website

2019-02-08

Pros

i like that it is easier to use than stuff like joomla or wordpress. there are drag and drop, pre-built options to get you started with building the website.

Cons

the more elaborate websites like those mentioned already allow for more customization when a designer or developer gets involved ... but this allows you to do some of that to a certain extent

Wix makes it easy to get a nice site up and going that a client can edit themselves

2019-02-13

Depending on the client and needs I might lean more towards joomla or another saas provider like BigCommerce or Shopify for e-commerce

Pros

I like it’s drag and drop editor and it’s prevuilt blocks. I tend to use the advanced editor cause of the nice features. It lets me customize the mobile views more nicely and has a lot of extra things like visto database support and js custom code support. I’ve used it to build a wedding site and other sites for friends and clients.

Cons

If you do more custom things like work with databases and custom JavaScript, the site can be very very painfully slow to load in the browser. I wish they’d find a way to speed up the engine.

Wix Website maker

2018-10-14

Wix helps get the work done with ease

Pros

It has a simple drag and drop feature making it easy for even a rookie to build a website in minutes. It has a pretty simple and interesting layout suitable for small businesses to larger corporations that wish to have an online presence. It has an optimized and responsive view for mobile devices and tablets. Wix can be likened to having series of tools you can conjure together to produce a structure . I'll recommend Wix to anyone looking to have an online presence without coding knowledge.

Cons

Although Wix is popular and can get website jobs done, it however isn't as comprehensive as Wordpress or Joomla who have larger support communities and loads of plugins to extend site functionalities.

Impressive Website Builder!

2019-04-03

Pros

Wix was extremely helpful in helping us build a landing page (that was not available on Joomla). I used the Wix ADI which gathered everything about our company and compiled it for our page.

Cons

I wish we could have linked our domain in the free version but it is understandable that this has to be a paid feature. There was also one glitch we came across where we weren't able to link to a page in a hosted PDF file, we had to link to the document itself. That was it though!
