Pros

Great solution to build landing pages / small & big websites with low budget - but if you got the money the results will be amazing.
If you are a person who has many thoughts that you would like to publish or perhaps you like fashion and want to show that interest, then WorldPress is your best friend.
WordPress is really an amazing content management system, that allows you to build stunning and amazing websites within few hours.

Pros

I find it truly amazing how little work I need to put in to make an amazing website. You will have people think the website was made by a professional not by yourself in a short amount of time.
I found WIX through an advertisement that claimed that the software was easy to use to create a website for yourself and it's true. It's easy to use and also fun to use.
You will like Wix and I'm sure with a little time and effort and your creative juices flowing, you can create a spectacular website that is user friendly and your customers would appreciate.

Cons

We've found ourselves stalled out badly with problems at times because a theme or plugin had terrible support.
The biggest problem with WordPress is the lack of understanding that it is a blog software.
As a result, I'm forced to disapprove and delete spam comments individually, and when you get hundreds of these kind of spam comments each week, you can imagine that it can be frustrating.

Cons

Their policies are ridiculous and customer service knowledge and etiquette are terrible. I have to share the latest bizarre policy I've run into.
Sometimes the apps cost money or you have limited amount of the app you can use before it costs money. This is frustrating when you start using it and then realize you are stuck.
The only problem that I have faced is that trying get to different pages of your website while in editing mode is confusing.

WordPress

My favorite site-building instrument

Reviewed 4 years ago

Best website solution for small businesses and blogs. Streamlined navigation and multitude of plugins, widgets, and customizations. (Also, you can buy premium themes on themeforest, for example.)

Pros

- I have begun using WordPress over 10 years ago, probably, and I started with WordPress.com. I later grew out of the confines of the .com option and moved to my own domain at the .org. I love it! - if you need a simple website or a blog, WordPress.com would fulfill all your needs. - if you need to create a more complicated website, WordPress.org is a better idea because it’s more customizable (for example, you can install your own themes or plugins). - there are SO many various plugins available for every imaginable feature, that you don’t need anything else really besides WordPress. Also, there is woocommerce, which is a WordPress e-commerce platform.

Cons

- it might take more time to learn WordPress administration than for example with Wix, but I like it more than Wix or other platforms.

I liked Wordpress for a long time and it is a great option for personal blogs but I feel like Wix is better for professional business websites.

Pros

I like how easy to use Wordpress is. Its uncomplicated and very fast to learn. I have been using Wordpress for years and until recently had been my favorite website builder. I like that it is inexpensive to get started and how quickly you can get a website launched.

Cons

I do not like how the end product looks. It is not as professional or slick looking as Wix. I feel that Wix is easier to use, quicker, and looks much nicer. It really can't compare in how customers react between the two websites. I think that Wix is getting me more business.

Wordpress is Organized and Great for Website-Building

Reviewed a year ago

Because I have personal experience working with WordPress, it is an easy platform to use and there are limitless possibilities on how to use WordPress. It is just that I prefer Wix with high quality videos, photos, and social media marketing tools that I can use. WordPress is great for those who have a Shopify store and want a website to link it to. When I think of WordPress, I think of it as more useful for bloggers, photographers, or artists who want to showcase their work.

Pros

I heard about Wordpress as a design student at North Carolina State University because we were trying to build a website to showcase our portfolio work. I was busy learning about Flash (not supported anymore) but then I learned that I could upload my Flash videos onto Wordpress. I enjoy using different types of software and photo-editing programs to upload onto my website. Wordpress was the popular platform to upload all of my graphics, videos, and images at the time.

Cons

I preferred Wix over Wordpress because Wix had high quality graphics. Wordpress is useful for online stores because it is easier to link the store to the website. It is for very simple thinkers, bloggers, or people who want personal websites. Wix is more of a platform popular with service-related businesses. My company is a service and product-based business so I stuck with Wix. I still have a Wordpress site but it has old photos of my portfolio work that I created in my university studies.

Pros

Wix is super user friendly and I would recommend it for beginners or someone who wants to try out website building. This is pretty easy to use comparing to Wordpress and other methods.
