We use this for a variety of different forms that our hospital has and utilize it the most when clients are not physically in the lobby or we utilize the mobile friendly versions on our tablets when our CSRs are inundated.

It’s a reliable and user-friendly tool that makes creating and managing forms simple and efficient. While there are a few limitations with pricing and advanced features, it delivers strong functionality and saves a lot of time for everyday use.

That said, we have occasionally run into issues where customers submit forms multiple times because the payment status isn’t clear, resulting in duplicate transactions and extra refund handling. If duplicate‑submission protection or clearer payment confirmation improved, it would remove one of the few operational headaches we’ve experienced.

The free plan is incredibly restrictive, offering very low limits on monthly submissions and storage space, and it forces you to display prominent Jotform branding. If you run a small project or only need the tool occasionally, the jump to a paid plan feels quite expensive.

End users were required to complete CAPTCHA challenges/games and other verification steps to confirm they were human, which created additional steps for patrons who simply wanted to sign in or out. While this was ultimately resolved by verifying users through a valid ID and a photo of the individual holding their ID, the process initially felt cumbersome for our use case.

Setting up forms is quick, the platform is reliable, and the automation tools help reduce repetitive manual tasks. While some advanced features require higher-tier plans, the time saved and improved organization make it a valuable tool for day-to-day business operations.

Its ability to integrate seamlessly with other platforms, such as automatically dumping submission data into Google Sheets or saving uploaded files straight to Google Drive, makes it an excellent engine for automation.

When creating more complex forms, it can sometimes be difficult to find the settings I need for certain block functionality (like requiring an answer). And while forms can be personalized according to some branding elements, the overall customization capacity is fairly limited.

Additionally, I wish the form would allow some customers to select online payment through a payment gateway while giving other customers the option to submit without payment... currently, if I set up the payment gateway, everyone has to pay prior to submission.
