Fantastic. Their support was incredible and FAST.
So easy to use. The templates were professional, editable and had depth. I was able to connect my own domain from GoDaddy and it worked seamlessly.
Someone who wants more customizability might go for something like Webflow.

Squarespace is a easy-to-use website builder for those with limited programming experience
Feature set is very limited, compared to building a custom site or a more rigorous website builder like Webflow, so your site will look basic and formulaic

Early in my career, I had the chance to use Squarespace and I can say it is not a one size fits all. Squarespace is great for solo entrepreneur with very small budget and no time to build a website. If you are a full-grown business, or you have the budget to hire a professional, I wouldn't use Squarespace. It is very limited.
Very limited. Squarespace already have pre-establish templates and there's no customization that you can do with them. Everything is already thought through for you. For anyone with no time to waste, yes it will do the job. But anyone else should look either into Wix, EditorX or Webflow.

My experience has been nothing but the best. I have built multiple websites on this platform. All of them have looked great!
Squarespace offers the best website builder. The platform makes it easy for anyone with little website experience to build a great site. They offer templates or you can build it from scratch.
Like most template sites, there is only so much you can do from an SEO perspective. Obviously, WordPress or Webflow would be the best option to build a site on, however, those platforms require you to have more web building experience, whereas Squarespace, can one can use it.

If you have no experience building websites, Squarespace is a great place to start. The drag-and-drop builder and user interface are clean and easy to grasp. While other simple website builders are out there (Wix, Weebly, etc), Squarespace is by far the best and offers the most professional-looking themes. Other website builders can often create websites that appear far more low-quality and messy. Customer service is awesome, and they're more than willing to help you with complex requests, such as coded integrations.
If you want more customization and control over the appearance of your website, you should probably go with a different website builder (WordPress and Webflow are both great options for individuals with a bit more coding experience). Squarespace can produce great websites, but it's limited in terms of customization and user control.

I love Squarespace. I've been using it for over 3 years and have been able to quickly produce several websites with it. I'm a little disappointed by how much Squarespace is limited on design, but the tradeoff is worth it with how easy their platform integrates e-commerce, email marketing, scheduling, and inventory management all-in-one.
Squarespace is clean, sophisticated, modern, easy to use, and has built-in features such as domain purchasing, email marketing, scheduling, and e-commerce that make it easy to run a business. With Squarespace, I can trust that my clients will be able to manage their website 100% by themselves once I finish designing it for them. With other platforms (like Wordpress), I cannot guarantee the same. I also like how transparent Squarespace's pricing and plans are. It's so easy to upgrade or downgrade as your needs change. In Squarespace, I can design a high-quality website extremely fast and share the draft with my clients easily.
Squarespace is the least flexible of all the web design platforms that I work with in terms of design customization. There are a lot of different types of widgets and ways to display content that simply aren't available on Squarespace because the platform limits what you can change in the design (probably to prevent websites from turning out bad). I've also noticed that Squarespace websites typically load slower than some of the websites I've built on other platforms like Webflow and Duda.

Completely changed the way we ship content and marketing landing pages. Eliminated a huge burden from our small engineering team. I would recommend it to any company I talk to.
Flexibility - Once we switched over to webflow, I was able to ship new content pages in just a couple hours and make changes on my own without bothering engineering. Running marketing experiments with a small engineering team became so much easier.
Ease of use - It can be a bit challenging to get over the learning curve, but I love that it's much closer to actual development than something like Squarespace.

Extremely positive. I've built a number of websites at this point, both for business and personal use, and they look so much better than anything on Squarespace and Wix.
The ability to create and complete customize a website pretty simply is the best part. I've used other "no-coding" website tools in the past and would get so frustrated because I wouldn't be able to edit key parts of the design with out diving into the muddy code. Webflow allows you to have all the customization you'd find if building your website from scratch without all the coding. As a designer, who can code but prefers not to, Webflow is my preferred spot for building any website.
Some of the tools are hard to find. I've accidentally clicked things in the past and spent hours figuring out where I need to click to fix things. Finding solutions is also difficult at times. The forums aren't as extensive as other softwares that I've used.

Webflow does a great job outputting sleek, simple, minimalistic looking website designs. The best part is how they let you export the code so you don't even need to purchase anything if you're only using it for one website. I would definitely come back to them even if I needed to pay.
The only problem I've had was how difficult it was for me to hear about Webflow. I feel like I had only ever heard of SquareSpace, WordPress, Weebly, etc. and Webflow has been my favorite when it comes to website building.

Platform that is great for small businesses just starting out. Highly recommended for it's easy of use, affordability and scalability.
Very slick UI and super easy to use and set up for collaboration. The designer module makes it easy for non-designers to make a site that is not only usable but professional. We really like the extensions that are available for pop-up elements and other helpful engagement modules like PayPal callouts with a Promo offer
We need to track deep analytics so it's kind of an issue to figure out firing triggers via GTM especially with forms. It takes a bit to get to know the platform but that is like any CMS - Wordpress, Wix, Squarespace.

As a web developer, I'm impressed how Webflow found a nice balance between ease of use and power of customization. When you enter the likes of Wix and Squarespace, the power inevitably suffers. Webflow found a way to allow non-technical people to contribute while still allowing developers to fully utilize the power of web technologies.
The lack of concurrent editing meant that we had to coordinate when a team member could access Webflow.

I really like Webflow and I would recommend it to any small business that wants to have a website, it has more options and flexibility than WordPress, Wix and Squarespace. The CMS (blog) content can be a little confusing to set up at first, but all the video introductions really help wrap your mind around how to do everything.
I like how WebFlow does all the coding for me, I don't have to worry about it at all. I can play around with different designs fairly easily without the hassle of actually writing code.
Finding resources to fix something that has gone wrong is fairly technical. There's definitely a learning curve, but once you get through that there's a lot of power in webflow.

Webflow has been a game-changer for our business. It's allowed us to bring web development 100% in-house, thereby streamlining our project process and putting more money back into our pockets. Can't recommend it enough!
I love how Webflow really captures the best of all the major website platforms. It has the customization of a traditional WordPress website, but without the code bloat and frustrating maintenance. Webflow has the ease of Squarespace when it comes to allowing our clients to use and maintain their websites themselves, making it the perfect choice for our web design/development business.
There's not a lot to dislike about Webflow! It's an up and coming platform, so certain features such as ecommerce and blogging are still lacking compared to other platforms. However, Webflow is hard at work to continue to improve in these areas.

I've loved learning and using Webflow. I have deep experience in Wordpress and Squarespace, and moderate experience with Shopify, Wix and Weebly, and Webflow has been a completely different experience. I love how much you can do with it. They also have an awesome resource library to answer basically any question you could ever think up.
I love how customizable Webflow is, and how you can configure it to work for both technical and non-technical users. You can do so much without knowing any code, but you can also create endless customizations if you do know how to code. It's been a best of both worlds for our team.
The high point is also the low point -- we worked with a design agency to create our Webflow site, which created some gaps once we took control of the platform. It's so customizable that the daily users really need to be a part of the basic building blocks of the site from the very beginning, or you'll find yourself up against questions you can't easily answer unless you have an existing knowledge of how Webflow works. It's user-friendly for non-coders, but it is also too easy to mess with if you don't know what you're doing!

My web design company can afford to support smaller businesses and non-profits, because our overhead is MUCH lower, now that we don't need to hire a development team.
Webflow has been a game changer. It allows you to develop a website in a visual way. Unlike Squarespace and Wix and the like, it's not a web builder. You actually use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build the website. For designers, it's crucial, because you can design websites and forego hiring a developer to code it. Truly, Webflow has impressive functionality, and they're always improving.
I wish Webflow had the functionality for native e-commerce. Multiple languages, native forums, and chat functionality would also be nice. While you can integrate all of these features from external plug-ins, it would make the development process much smoother if these functions were native.

Webflow is incredibly powerful and has a really well thought out user interface. If you're prepared to invest time into the learning curve webflow is a great option. Especially for users who can't write code. Compared to a platform like WordPress, Webflow is incredibly forward thinking, and on top of modern web design trends.
For novice/non technical users though some aspects of the UI can be confusing and a bit hidden. Users without a solid understanding of best web design practices will struggle to get the best out of the visual page builders. The learning curve is much steeper than a Wix/Squarespace alternative, for those users who aren't focused on creating a website from scratch.

I was surprised at the power at my disposal, particularly adding content and managing styles but was even more impressed at the UI/UX of the editor. I wouldn't call it easy to use exactly but I would call it rewarding.
Of all the what-you-see-is-what-you-get website builders available (such as Wix, Weebly, Squarespace, et. al.) most of them are aimed at amateurs not really anyone with any sort of extensive web design or development background. Webflow is different in that respect and in all aspects of the user experience, from the way style sheets are exposed, displayed, and edited to the extensive hosting options....
Hosting options are kind of confusing. Simplify them, please.

Webflow is the best thing that has ever happened to my business.
As a small business, it's not uncommon to be the one wearing all of the hats in your business. I'm a photographer and I've designed websites for myself through Wix, 22slides, 4ormat, Squarespace, Wordpress, Virb and finally... Webflow. I'm not exaggerating when I say Webflow is the holy grail of customizability and ease of use. For the past 10 years, I've hated doing website updates or overhauls. Now, I look forward to creating websites in Webflow. Using Webflow inspired the confidence to design more websites for fun, including one for a personal project! They all look beautiful.
This honestly may be something I haven't figured out yet, but I don't think you can use animations within CMS pages.

I run a graphic and web design studio and when I found out about Webflow, I was a bit skeptical. However, after using Webflow for a number of client projects, I have very few complaints. In fact, it's my go-to solution for tackling client web design jobs. Webflow offers an incredible amount of functionality in a fairly intuitive interface. If you are familiar with Adobe CC software, Webflow will feel...
