Pros

The share button seems to be the most useful, for when I need to share with my clients it makes it so simple. Very fun, and easy to use.

I have been using the app for 11years now and I have seen it’s growth and development. It’s only getting better and better.

Overall, it is a great software and I would recommend it to anyone who might be interested in trying it out.

Pros

The perfect tool for setting up work channels. Easy to use, ability to create a number of different groups, can be linked through Microsoft Teams which is a great bonus.

Yammer is a great way to share info with your colleagues - whether it is a fun fact of the day or reinforcing important messages/due dates.

We used this product while working with UK team. It was making our work fun & I could say it was a really helpful to build a better relationship with the overseas team while carrying out our work.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about the app is that the don't filter the post properly. Sometimes I just see inappropriate tweets and it is sometimes irritating.

IA

Ingrid Anne M.

The people on the app are harsher because most of the time, you are "anonymous. And it could be a bit confusing to use at first because it is a bit different from others.

AR

Anonymous Reviewer

Only there are lots of fake accounts in the app and when you send complaints to Twitter, it is not easy to receive feedback.

FATMA G.

Cons

Everything becomes lost in between groups, it's difficult to remember who posted what where.

KF

I feel that this app offered from the many by Microsoft has just been left behind a bit. With Teams now being the boom, I believe Yammer will tend to die if it is not implemented within Teams.

Sometimes having too many tools in the O365 makes it confusing for users to follow up on. Found that deleting posts may be a challenge.

Twitter clone for office use

Reviewed 4 months ago

Didn't like using it as it became too much to handle. Constants updates from users and spamming their ideas and pictures was too much.

Pros

The idea itself of a product similar to Twitter but for office usage is a novel one. Fairly simple to use once set up.

Cons

Practically it's used by leaders to spam their ideas or to seem more relatable. It wasn't used for idea sharing much after the first week and became people sharing recipes and their scotch collection. Felt weird to use.

Great Place to Stay Current With Your Colleagues

Reviewed 2 years ago

My overall experience is good. I'll get email updates sent to my outlook when people or groups I follow post and I've been informed about some pretty helpful and useful things. This software kind of reminds me of Twitter for companies.

Pros

I like being able to stay current with what's going on in our company. Different employees and managers will share information about projects that are underway - giving us updates so we can sty informed. I like how easy it is to share and access knowledge form my colleagues.

Cons

For how I use this software, I don't see any cons. I just enjoy getting updates on certain projects and being able to check out what people are posting.

Yammer is a Facebook-like social media tool for intranet purposes within a company

Reviewed 3 years ago

excellent analytics, easy to use interface, an opportunity to have various threads in groups across the company

Pros

- really slick app! easy to navigate, even better than the browser version - it is like Facebook, which is polarizing to employees who prefer Slack and other more "Twitter-like" communication tools - in the admin view, I've been pleased with the level of detailed analytics

Cons

The organization and search-ability leave something to be desired. Sorting is strictly chronological, which makes it hard to find specific posts later on.
