Sooner or later an auditor or the board asks for a list of the AI tools in use and who answers for each. Agent Register lets a security or AI governance lead produce that list from names the teams can already give, without installing a discovery platform in the network. The input can be as simple as a tool name per line.

Adding the department and what the tool is connected to sharpens the answer, and an admin export of OAuth grants or the app list from your workspace suite pastes in as it is. Each entry then shows four answers: its level of autonomy, its default reach, human oversight, and whether your data stays inside your tenant. Add the owner, and every row gets one standing: clear, control or unregistered.

The register is the inventory, the findings are the work list, and the controls are what you show the assessor, because each finding links to the relevant ISO/IEC 42001 and EU AI Act requirement, the evidence an auditor will take and the most frequent gap. Anything the published dictionary does not recognise is marked unregistered with four questions to answer, so unknown tools become follow-ups instead of silent assumptions. Classification runs in the browser and nothing leaves it until you save.
