The platform covers 25+ developer-focused capabilities: code generation, refactoring, bug detection, code review, code explanation, documentation generation, commit message generation, Dockerfile and Kubernetes config writing, Big-O complexity analysis, and code translation, among others. The browser-based React UI builder includes live preview, UI intent governance, version history, CDN management, and project export, with no backend setup required. Side-by-side model comparison and conversation branching allow developers to evaluate outputs across models within a single session. Custom agents are built by stacking prompts, reasoning modes, safety guardrails, and tool integrations, and are reusable across the API, chat interface, and IDE extensions.
Ask Codi enforces code privacy by not training AI models on user data, and supports PII masking and custom blocking rules configurable per model. An automatic self-review pass checks AI-generated output for bugs, security issues, and standards compliance before results are returned. Workspace team management includes role-based access controls, and real-time usage analytics provide detailed visibility into consumption across models and team members. Tokens do not expire, free-tier models carry no rate limits, and no additional charges apply for creating or running custom agents beyond underlying model API costs.
