asyncmate is a Slack app for asynchronous standups and team check-ins. It installs through Slack's standard OAuth flow, sends each participant the configured questions by direct message at the scheduled time in their own timezone, collects the answers in a Slack modal, and posts a digest to a channel of your choice when the response window closes. Check-ins are fully configurable: questions and answer types, participants, schedule, response window, digest channel and time-off handling. Standup, retrospective and end-of-day follow-up are presets on the same engine.

AI digest (Pro): every digest opens with a generated summary of what shipped, who is blocked and what needs a decision, written in the language the team answers in. Open blockers are tracked across runs with owner, age and status, and recurring blocker patterns are surfaced in the Insights view. Answers are sent to the model only to produce the digest and are never used for training; a per-workspace daily allowance falls back to the plain digest.

Also included on the same install: hours logging by project from a Slack DM, with a review grid, calendar, daily targets, overtime and CSV export; one-tap polls with a live tally and optional anonymity; anonymous surveys for pulse checks, eNPS and retrospectives that store aggregates only; kudos via slash command; and /asyncmate slash commands for status, skip, snooze, polls and out-of-office.

Platform and security: Slack only today (Microsoft Teams is on the roadmap). A web dashboard handles setup, history, insights and reporting. Slack bot tokens are encrypted at rest, workspace data is tenant-isolated, GDPR data export and erasure are built in, a DPA is available, and the service is hosted in the EU.

Pricing: free for up to 10 active participants (people who answer a check-in or log hours), then $2.50 per active participant per month. Poll voters, reminder recipients and passive channel members are never billed. The free plan includes a rolling 90-day reporting history; Pro adds the AI digest, anonymous surveys and full history.
