Atlarix overview

What is Atlarix?

Atlarix is a private AI coding agent for engineering teams, deployable as a desktop application on macOS, Windows, and Linux, a terminal CLI, a Chrome extension, a pull-request reviewer, and editor extensions for VS Code, Cursor, Kiro, Windsurf, Zed, and JetBrains IDEs. The agent plans, edits, runs, and reviews code inside a user's own projects. Every file change is held in a hunk-level diff approval queue and written to disk only after explicit user approval. Code is never indexed, uploaded, or stored remotely; on-demand search uses bundled ripgrep with no embeddings or vector store. A per-OS sandbox confines shell commands to the open project, and the agent cannot reach outside it. Full offline and air-gapped operation is supported via local models through Ollama and LM Studio.

Atlarix supports provider-agnostic model selection, including a managed Auto mode, managed Core models, bring-your-own API keys for providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, and OpenRouter, and fully local models. One account and one balance covers the desktop app, Chrome extension, and pull-request reviewer (Atlarix Reviewer). Atlarix Reviewer posts file-level and line-level findings with suggested fixes on unlimited repositories and pull requests without cloning or running code. A cloud agent accepts tasks from Slack or the web, operates inside a repository's own GitHub Actions environment, and opens a pull request for approval, allowing work to continue while the user's machine is off.

Work modes include Explore, Plan, Build, Debug, and Review, with parallel task execution splitting a single task into up to five concurrent efforts. Multi-workspace support provides per-workspace sessions, terminal state, MCP servers, skills, and settings. Scheduled and trigger-based automations, a built-in terminal with persistent shell history, and a CLI that shares sessions, models, keys, and MCP servers with the desktop app round out the feature set. Team administrators gain centralized control over models, connected tools, required approvals, and a full activity log, with no procurement process required to start.
