Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Brisk Audio overview
What is Brisk Audio?
Brisk Audio gives you an online workspace for working with sound, from capturing a new recording to editing and exporting a finished audio file. Instead of switching between separate utilities for everyday audio tasks, you can access recording, editing, enhancement, effects, transcription, and file conversion tools through your browser.
Capture audio from different sources
Record your voice using a microphone, capture audio streaming through your browser, or make quick recordings with the voice memo tool. A soundboard provides additional options for live performance and audio playback. For spoken recordings that need to be converted into text, the transcription tool includes timestamps to help locate sections of the recording.
Make precise edits to recordings
Trim clips to keep the sections you need, remove unwanted parts with the cut tool, or split audio at specific points. Remove silent gaps, join clips together, merge segments into a continuous track, and mix additional audio into an existing recording. Multitrack editing lets you work with multiple tracks for more involved audio projects.
Clean up recordings and balance sound
Improve the clarity of voice recordings with Voice Cleaner and Remove Noise. Use Dereverb to minimize unwanted echoes, Normalize to balance volume levels, and Amplify to adjust loudness. Audio Enhance combines loudness and clarity improvements, while the Equalizer gives you control over bass, mids, and treble.
Add effects and adjust playback
Give recordings a different sound with echo, reverb, fade-in, and fade-out effects. Reverse audio for creative transitions or adjust playback speed without changing pitch. Vocal tools can isolate vocals from recordings, remove vocals to create instrumentals, or help prepare tracks for karaoke.
Convert files and process batches
Convert multiple files using Batch Converter, which supports formats including MP3, WAV, FLAC, OPUS, and M4A. Batch Effects lets you apply selected effects to multiple files in one pass, making repeated editing tasks easier to manage. For compatible MP3, M4A, and AAC files, lossless editing tools allow cutting and trimming without re-encoding.
Create audio for personal and business use
Use Brisk Audio to prepare ringtones, create on-hold messages for business phone systems, edit voice memos, improve spoken content, or produce audio clips for digital content. The FFT Analyzer also provides a real-time view of audio frequencies for users who want to inspect the sound spectrum.
Brisk Audio is designed for content creators, musicians, podcasters, educators, and businesses that need convenient access to audio tools. Its browser-based approach lets you work on recordings online without installing a desktop audio editor, with tools available for both simple edits and more involved audio tasks.
