CABVIX overview
What is CABVIX?
CABVIX gives cabling and network teams a single record of what is installed on site. Racks are drawn to the rack unit, front and rear, using a hardware library of more than 1,300 switches, gateways, panels, UPSs and PDUs. Patch leads are recorded port to port with colour and length, wall outlets are linked to the patch panel ports that feed them, and power is recorded through to each device's power supply. Technicians can trace an outlet to its switch, place racks and outlets on floor plans, view the network topology and print QR rack and outlet labels. Health checks show what is missing or out of date. Contractors and partner companies can be given access to selected racks for a set time. Pro adds Blast Radius, which shows which devices and outlets would go down if a device, rack, link or mains supply failed, plus a 3D rack view, Room view and Guided fixes for people on site. Version history, restore points and two-step sign-in are included.
