Clairgest is a cloud-based salon management system for estheticians, hairstylists, barbers and massage therapists in Canada. It combines the appointment calendar, client files and point of sale in one bilingual (French and English) web app that runs in any browser on a computer, tablet or phone.

For esthetics: client files with a 14-section health questionnaire, contraindication alerts, before-and-after photos and service history. For massage therapy: consent forms signed on a tablet, and insurance receipts showing the treatment duration and the therapist's association and member number. For hair salons and barbers: a shared calendar for several practitioners with online booking.

The point of sale records cash, card and gift card payments, applies discounts and calculates GST, HST, PST or QST according to the salon's province, with 5-cent rounding for cash. Receipts and invoices are printed or emailed. Automated email and SMS reminders help reduce no-shows. Staff clock in and out with a PIN, and the owner decides what employees can see, such as reports and prices.
