Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.

Clearterms overview
What is Clearterms?
ClearTerms is a legal document analysis platform that employs artificial intelligence to produce plain language summaries of complex contracts and agreements along with structured risk assessments and obligation extraction. The platform uses natural language processing algorithms to identify critical clauses and quantify contractual asymmetry between parties while generating briefing materials formatted for attorney review. The software targets professionals and organizations that require rapid comprehension of nondisclosure agreements, software as a service contracts, vendor agreements, commercial leases, employment contracts, freelance arrangements, service terms, privacy policies and other compliance related documents without immediate legal consultation. The platform facilitates first round contract analysis for stakeholders lacking specialized legal training or in-house counsel resources.
Document processing follows a structured four stage pipeline beginning with encrypted ingestion of files in portable document format, word document, plain text, hypertext markup language and rich text format up to fifty megabytes per document. Files at rest are secured using AES two hundred and fifty six encryption and files in transit are protected by TLS encryption. Uploaded documents are excluded from model training data and may be deleted by users at any time. The obligation extraction component is powered by large language models prompted to detect and categorize binding clauses such as durations, fees, restrictions, rights, termination provisions and mutual obligations with explicit clause references and binding status labels.
The platform employs a balance of power scoring algorithm to quantify contractual leverage by analyzing liability waivers, indemnification sections, amendment rights, payment clauses and other asymmetry inducing provisions. Risk identification highlights clauses by severity level with callouts for broad liability waivers, unilateral price modification rights, warranty disclaimers, data usage permissions and uncapped adjustment mechanisms. Financial analysis derives total contract value, recurring fee obligations, early termination penalties, onboarding costs and escalation terms to illustrate cumulative multi year expenditure. A tactical question generator prepares formatted inquiries mapped to specific contract passages to guide legal counsel consultations.
Analysis findings are presented through a tabbed interface offering overview summaries, key point listings with clause mappings, risk catalogs, financial breakdowns and legal review questions. All outputs are composed at an eighth grade reading level to facilitate comprehension by non legal professionals. Document reviews complete in under two minutes for typical contract lengths and real time progress updates are available during analysis of longer agreements requiring up to five minutes. The web based application operates in standard browsers without native installations and secures stored documents in private cloud repositories with role based access controls. Enterprise editions may include custom integration capabilities for programmatic document submission and analysis retrieval while export functionality supports portable document format and word document reporting.
