Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Commander for Advocates overview
What is Commander for Advocates?
Commander for Advocates is a cloud-based, web-based multi-client workspace within the VA Claim Commander platform, built for VSO officers, accredited claims agents, VA-accredited attorneys, and VSO chapter teams managing up to five seats. The platform centers on a multi-client dashboard that consolidates client records, deadline tracking, and full VA disability claim package generation into a single interface. Persistent client records eliminate repeated data entry across sessions, and organization branding is applied to all generated documents. Available in Solo ($99/month, 1 seat) and Team ($199/month, up to 5 seats) plans, each with a 14-day free trial and no card required.
Document generation covers nexus letters, personal statements, buddy statements, and DBQ prep, all grounded in a verified legal corpus spanning CFR 38 diagnostic codes, M21-1 adjudication procedures, and 200,000+ BVA and CAVC decisions, with PubMed-verified citations and no fabricated sources. Every generated document passes through an adversarial AI rater that performs a 4-pass audit covering factual trace, contradiction detection, regulatory consistency, and credibility assessment before the advocate or client sees it; critical findings trigger automatic document regeneration. Commander Scan analyzes uploaded service treatment and civilian records to surface claimable conditions, flag unclaimed conditions outside current ratings, and identify potential secondary conditions across 92 documented condition relationships. Evidence gap analysis compares records against rating criteria to surface missing documentation, and evidence quality assessment per condition helps prioritize each client's file.
Commander for Advocates includes the full suite of 24 free tools at no additional cost, including a rating calculator, C&P exam prep, decision letter analyzer, CUE detector, ITF tracker, congressional letter drafter, evidence gap analyzer, and claims dashboard. Licensed clinician review and signature routing is available via Commander Health, removing the burden of independently sourcing a provider. Records are processed in the browser and discarded rather than stored on vendor servers. The platform operates under signed HIPAA Business Associate Agreements, AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit, SOC 2 infrastructure, and a strict policy against using client data for AI model training.
