Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

FSRdp overview
What is FSRdp?
FSRdp is a self-hosted screen sharing and remote control system that runs as a Windows service or Linux systemd service, including on Raspberry Pi 5 (ARM64), with no dependency on third-party cloud infrastructure. All session data remains on the operator's own server, supporting GDPR-compliant deployments. Target use cases include IT remote support, helpdesk operations, staff training, and team meetings. Guests join sessions directly via web browser without installing any software, while Windows and Linux clients (x64 and ARM64) are available for supporters.
Multi-participant rooms allow several attendees to view, talk, and collaborate simultaneously, with up to 10 fixed room names per supporter. In-session capabilities include multi-camera video, voice chat, text chat with image attachments up to 4 MB, file transfer up to 2 GB per file (200 MB via browser), selective screen sharing via a freely draggable area (Windows client), screenshots on demand, and session recording to local MP4 with chat and transcript files (Windows client). Remote control is consent-based: explicitly granted by the guest and revocable at any time.
FSRdp optionally supports live captions and live translation. Room audio is sent to an operator-configured, OpenAI-compatible external speech recognition service to transcribe speech in real time, with captions delivered to each participant in their own language. Both features are disabled by default and require the operator to supply an API key for a compatible service. Pricing is 7 EUR per supporter per month plus VAT, with a free 30-day trial available.
