PrepaidQR overview

What is PrepaidQR?

PrepaidQR is a dynamic QR code platform with per-code prepaid economics: instead of an account-wide monthly plan, every code carries its own one-time scan pack. Eight tiers span 1,000 scans ($3) to 1,000,000 scans ($32). A code stays live until its scan budget or pack term runs out, and the card on file is never auto-charged.

Functions

• Dynamic codes for URLs, vCard contact cards, and WiFi credentials; a free static generator requires no account.

• Full styling control — shape, color, frame, and logo overlay. Every logo upload is automatically test-decoded, so branding can't silently break scannability.

• Print-ready export as vector SVG or PNG.

• Destinations are editable at any time after printing; the printed artwork never changes.

• Analytics: scans and visitors over time plus country, device, and browser breakdowns. A 7-day window is included; one-time unlocks extend history to 30 days ($9) or 90 days ($19), with optional emailed reports (monthly $25, weekly $35).

Specs

• Redirects resolve at the network edge in under 10 ms; scanners need no app — any phone camera works.

• Scan budgets are enforced with strongly consistent per-code counters, so a prepaid budget is never overserved.

• Unused scans carry into the next pack applied to the same code, up to the new pack's size; optional auto-extend applies an already-owned pack the moment a code runs out.

• A depleted code falls back to an archived, ad-supported page and reactivates with any new pack; ads never appear on active codes or in the dashboard.

• Up to 100 packs per checkout, processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

Security and privacy

• Destination URLs are screened at creation and rechecked daily.

• Zero cookies on the scan path; visitors are pseudonymized at collection; raw IP addresses are never stored.

• Geolocation is country-level only; device and browser are recorded as categories, not fingerprints.

• Low-volume analytics breakdowns are suppressed or rolled into an "Other" bucket (k-anonymity), so individual scanners can't be singled out.

• GDPR-aligned posture with EU data region.

Every account starts with a free 5,000-scan pack, and every tier ships the identical feature set — pricing changes with scan volume, never with features.
