Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

GroupTogether overview
What is GroupTogether?
GroupTogether is a cloud-based group card and gift collection platform designed for HR teams, office administrators, and business users who need a fast, secure way to coordinate group gifting for employees, colleagues, or clients. The platform combines three core functions in a single workflow: digital group cards, online money collection, and bulk eGift card distribution, eliminating the need for separate tools or manual coordination.
Users can launch a collection in minutes through a guided setup flow. No software installation, company account, or subscription is required. Each collection generates a unique shareable link that can be distributed through email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or text, allowing contributors to sign the card and optionally add funds from any device or location. GroupTogether can also automate invitations and reminder emails on the organizer's behalf, reducing manual follow-up.
Core functionality includes unlimited card messages and signatures, with support for photo and GIF uploads. Cards can be customized from a library of thousands of templates or built from a custom cover design, then delivered digitally or exported as a print-ready PDF. Money collection is flexible and configurable: organizers can request a set amount, allow open contributions, or let participants sign without contributing. Individual contribution amounts are hidden from other group members, and all transactions are processed through Stripe. A centralized dashboard gives administrators real-time visibility into signatures, contributions, deadlines, and delivery status without needing to check in manually. Users also get access to a gift store of 150+ eGift cards from major U.S. retailers, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Starbucks, and Airbnb, plus the GroupTogether AnyCard, a flexible multi-brand credit that lets recipients choose their own eGift card from the full retailer catalog. For larger-scale needs, GroupTogether supports bulk eGift card sending to up to 1,000 recipients at once, with custom company branding, personalized messaging, scheduled or self-send delivery, and delivery tracking, making it well suited for HR teams running recognition programs at scale.
On the security side, payment processing is handled through Stripe using industry-standard encryption for all transactions, and GroupTogether states it does not sell user data to third parties. Contribution amounts stay private between the platform and the individual contributor and are not visible to other group members or, in most cases, the recipient.
Pricing is straightforward: a standalone group card costs $5.50 USD, and group cards paired with a gift collection are free once the collection reaches $20 USD or more. eGift card purchases carry no platform fee when paid by invoice, while a 2.9% processing fee applies to card payments, and a 2% fee applies specifically to Amazon, Target, and Walmart eGift cards, which organizers can choose to deduct from the collected total. GroupTogether also provides live chat-based customer support with local teams based in the U.S. and Australia.
