Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

impressBox overview
What is impressBox?
impressBox is a cloud digital signage content management system (CMS) for organisations that run screens across many sites, such as retail chains, retail-media and DOOH networks, shopping centres, gyms, transport hubs and corporate offices. It is developed and operated by Dėžutė, UAB in Vilnius, Lithuania, and hosted in the European Union.
Content and templates: Users upload images, videos, audio, PDFs and web pages, or add YouTube and Vimeo videos, live HLS streams, web URLs and Canva designs. Every file is automatically converted so it plays reliably on each type of screen. Form-based HTML templates let non-designers update menus, prices, timetables and announcements by filling in fields, with a live preview. A two-zone layout, scrolling ticker, clock and HTML overlays are also available.
Scheduling and playlists: Content is organised into playlists and scheduled precisely: start and end dates, hours of the day, chosen weekdays, and repeating on/off cycles such as two weeks on and two weeks off. Publishing can happen immediately, at a set time or on a recurring schedule, and displays can switch on and off with opening hours. Temporary playlists can take over for a set number of plays and then hand back to the main playlist. Tag rules let one shared playlist play differently on each screen, impressBox shows where each clip will actually play, and every screen confirms it received the update.
AI agent: A built-in AI agent carries out most platform tasks in plain language: uploading and scheduling content, building templates, publishing playlists, checking device status, pulling playback statistics and troubleshooting screens. It is available in the web app, over WhatsApp and through an OAuth-secured MCP endpoint for AI tools such as Claude, and it always acts with the signed-in user's permissions. AI image tools generate and edit images, remove backgrounds, extend artwork to portrait or ultra-wide screens, read text and dates from images and score content before it goes live.
Remote device management: Operators see each screen's status, live screenshot, logs and uptime history, and can switch displays on or off, change volume, reboot and update players remotely. Network diagnostics run from the player itself, automated diagnosis matches device errors to known fixes, and Wi-Fi and network settings can be changed remotely. Players cache content for offline playback and recover from playback problems on their own.
Retail media, audio and partners: Ad insertion rules, ad play counters, per-screen targeting and peer-to-peer content delivery inside a store support retail-media networks; these are configured together with the impressBox team. The same platform runs audio-only players for in-store radio and audio announcements. Resellers and integrators can manage many client accounts from one login.
Supported players: LG webOS (including older webOS 2.0 and 3.0 displays), Samsung Tizen, Android and Android TV, BrightSign Series 4 and 5, Raspberry Pi and x86 Linux players, and any modern web browser.
