Jobkore overview

What is Jobkore?

Jobkore is estimating, invoicing, and payment software for construction contractors, built for solo operators and small crews rather than for the office staff of a large field service company. It runs as a web app and installs to a phone's home screen as a Progressive Web App from app.getjobkore.com/install, so there is no app store download, no update cycle, and one account covers both the phone on site and the desktop at the office.

Documents. Estimates are built from line items, grouped into sections, with photos attachable to individual lines. Cost and markup are stored per line and stay off the client's copy; line notes are client-visible. Estimates go out as a shared link that reports when it is viewed and captures an e-signature. Change orders are first-class documents with independent approval, signature, and invoicing, and their PDF carries an AIA G701-style reconciliation of original contract value, prior change orders, and revised total; a change order amends whichever document set the contract, so an estimate is not a prerequisite. Invoices are raised from accepted estimates, multiple per job for deposits, progress draws, and final balance, with partial payment tracking and automatic overdue reminders. Once an invoice carries a payment, edits are evaluated field by field rather than locking the document outright.

Hank AI. Hank builds draft documents from captured input and edits estimates, invoices, and change orders through a chat interface exposing 26 tools covering line creation and pricing, sections, allowances, client records, and due dates. Pricing resolves against the contractor's catalog first and their default rate second. Destructive edits surface as an Apply or Keep card rather than mutating the form directly. Hank retains up to 20 persistent per-contractor rules and follows the active interface language.

Capture. Field Notes accept typed text, voice memos up to 15 minutes with automatic transcription against a construction-specific glossary, and text extraction from photos and PDFs. Notes, memos, attachments, and document edits captured without connectivity are queued locally and transmitted on next app open.

Integrations. Stripe handles card and ACH payments, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where supported, at Stripe's published rates with no platform markup. QuickBooks Online sync is one-way, Jobkore to QuickBooks, covering sent and accepted estimates, invoices, payments, and the client and catalog records they reference; it is included at no additional cost. Google is supported for single sign-on, and Google Places powers address autocomplete. Data exports as CSV.

Security. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions use httpOnly cookies on a fixed 7-day window. Uploaded files are stored privately in Cloudflare R2 and served only through signed URLs. QuickBooks OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Card data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches Jobkore. Signing in from an unrecognized browser triggers a 6-digit code sent to the account email, and a verified device is remembered for 90 days; Google sign-in bypasses it.

Localization. The interface, estimates, invoices, PDFs, and all client-facing email are fully available in English and Spanish.

Pricing. A single plan at $29 per month or $290 per year includes every feature, with no tiers, no per-user seats, and no add-on charges. The 14-day trial provides full access without a credit card. Available across the United States.

It provides a basic sync, which is nice, but still requires cleanup on the QBO side.

so as to not make many mistakes when doing keying time for payroll
