Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Kordis overview
What is Kordis?
Kordis is an AI-powered workforce management and staffing automation platform designed specifically for Canadian staffing agencies and businesses managing shift-based workers. The software serves industries such as light industrial and warehouse operations, private-pay nursing and personal support services, banquets and events, and hospitality across Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta. Kordis unifies recruitment, scheduling, dispatch, payroll preparation, and worker communication tasks into a single integrated environment that replaces multiple employees and disparate software systems.
The platform operates via a conversational AI interface known as the Concierge, enabling natural language commands to execute complex staffing operations. Auto Dispatch contacts workers by text or phone call to fill shifts, prioritizing historically reliable candidates and ceasing outreach once positions are filled. The Instant Cover feature stages qualified replacement workers when callouts occur, presenting options for review before the employer’s workday begins. Smart Screening conducts phone interviews with applicants based on employer-defined criteria and generates transcripts to support hiring decisions. AutoFile reads and catalogs worker credentials, including equipment certifications, service permits, and work permits, tracks expiration dates, and prevents deployment of workers with lapsed credentials. The Five-Minute Payroll functionality reconciles timesheets with payroll provider data, calculates statutory pay and overtime according to provincial regulations, and produces payroll-ready exports. The Worker Line handles routine inquiries autonomously while escalating complex questions to the employer for resolution. All automated actions are staged for human approval and include full traceability to data sources and undo capability for reversible tasks.
Canadian regulatory compliance is embedded at every level. The system enforces province-specific calling hours and recording-consent rules for automated communications. It tracks industry-specific certifications such as forklift equipment class certificates in Ontario, service permits in British Columbia, and employment agency licenses in Alberta, blocking placements if credentials lapse. Overtime calculations adhere to Alberta’s rule of either eight hours per day or forty-four hours per week, with the higher compensation applied. All compliance measures operate as default parameters rather than optional settings.
Kordis functions as an overlay to existing business systems rather than a replacement. It integrates with established accounting solutions, payroll providers, and banking systems through compatible data imports and exports, eliminating the need for data migration or system installation. This design enables agencies to maintain current records and workflows while benefiting from advanced automation of shift management, credential tracking, and payroll reconciliation.
