Leadership by STRASYS is a single-administrator competency assessment and training prescription engine. One account governs the whole organization, so there is no per-employee seat cost and no user provisioning to maintain.

Data model

Up to 150 employee records, 30 designations, 12 hierarchy tiers from CEO to Manager, and 25 competency slots seeded with a 16-competency starter library. Every designation carries its own competency set, and each competency is weighted Essential, Important or Supportive for that role. Employees hold a reporting chain, department and designation, so hierarchy is structural rather than a label.

Assessment and prescription

Proficiency is captured on a three-value scale, Basic, Advanced or Expert, per competency per employee. Locking an assessment freezes the ratings and triggers the prescription engine: each gap is resolved against the designation priority and matched to programs in your configured training catalogue, which stores provider, level, hours, cost and currency per program. Marking a training complete requires a certificate URL, so completion records are evidence-linked rather than self-declared.

Analysis tools

Eleven built-in tools: 9-Box Grid plotting training completion against assessment score for succession review, Competency Radar, Competency Insight for gap analysis and promotion readiness, Training Investment cost breakdown by priority and team, Employee Comparison, Performance Trend across cycles, Meeting Cost, Development ROI, SMART Goal Builder, Audit Trail viewer and Export Center with branded print output.

Data integrity

Development cycles are unlimited and close into immutable snapshots that feed multi-year trending. An append-only audit trail records 15 operational action types with timestamp and user attribution.

Imports and exports

Bulk import for employees, designations and departments via CSV, parsed in-app with quoted-field handling, and a downloadable template. Export Center produces branded, print-ready reports carrying your company name and logo.

Architecture and security

A React 19 Progressive Web App on Firebase, with a service worker for offline shell loading. Data is held in Google Cloud europe-west1 under AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Firebase App Check with reCAPTCHA v3 attests every client request, and Firestore security rules enforce strict per-account data isolation. Sign-in is via Google or Microsoft Entra ID. Subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. One account synchronizes across any modern browser and Android, Windows, Mac, iPhone and iPad, with nothing to install locally.
