Lockbin gives small offices a simple way to send sensitive information by email and to collect documents from clients, without asking anyone to install software.

Secure email: write a message, attach files, and send it to any email address. The recipient opens it in a web browser and can reply securely from the same message. Messages and files are protected with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Lockbin runs alongside Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365, so the office keeps its normal email for everyday mail.

Document collection: send an Information Request, share a personal secure file-drop link, or embed a secure intake form on the office website. Clients upload IDs, insurance cards, tax forms and signed paperwork straight to the office's Lockbin inbox, with no account or password on their end.

Lockbin is used by medical and dental practices, therapists and counselors, insurance and benefits agents, and CPAs and tax preparers. Premium includes a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement that customers sign in their dashboard.

Plans: the free plan includes 10 secure emails and one Information Request. Premium is $10 per user per month and adds document requests, secure web forms, multiple recipients, up to 20 attachments per message, delivery receipts, Undo Send, text notifications, custom branding, message retention rules and the signed BAA. Offices can add every staff member to one account and receive copies of staff messages for compliance.
