Mailich helps German-speaking teams and self-employed professionals handle recurring customer enquiries in their existing inbox. It is a desktop AI email assistant for Mac and Windows, with support for providers including Gmail, GMX, WEB.DE, T-Online, IONOS and iCloud, plus compatible IMAP/SMTP accounts.

Incoming messages are sorted by importance and summarized, so users can see what needs attention. Reply drafts draw on examples from sent emails to match the user's tone, greetings and phrasing. Users review the suggested reply and add missing facts before sending. This is useful for trades businesses, agencies and other service companies that repeatedly answer questions about appointments, status and next steps.

Users choose summaries, drafts or optional automatic replies. Automatic sending must be explicitly enabled for routine categories and follows guardrails, with a ten-minute window to cancel by default. Messages identified as suspicious are excluded. AI can make mistakes, so important commitments and sensitive situations need personal review.

Emails and the style profile are stored locally on the computer. For AI tasks, selected shortened excerpts are sent through a Mailich relay server in Germany to an AI service provider; the relay does not store or log the excerpts.
