Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Mention Reminder overview
What is Mention Reminder?
Mention Reminder keeps track of chat messages that are still waiting for someone's answer. It runs as a bot inside Slack, Microsoft Teams and Discord, and one account can cover all three.
How it works: when a teammate is mentioned in a channel the app can see, the message goes into that person's private inbox (the App Home in Slack, a card in the personal chat in Teams, a private thread in Discord). Each item links back to the original message. At the hours the person has chosen, in their own timezone, the bot sends a reminder with everything that is still open.
Items clear themselves. A reply in the thread, a reaction on the message or the Done button removes the reminder, so the list only shows what still needs an answer and nobody maintains it by hand.
Privacy: only a short excerpt of each message is stored, anything that looks like a password or API key is removed first, and deleting the original message removes its reminders.
Plans: Starter is free for up to five people in one workspace, team or server, with direct @mentions and one reminder a day. Team adds several reminder hours a day, any number of workspaces, and an optional AI check that decides whether an @everyone or @role mention actually asks someone for a reply.
