Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

NetworkSketch overview
What is NetworkSketch?
NetworkSketch is a browser-based network topology diagram tool built for network engineers, telecom engineers, MSPs, VARs, and IT consulting firms. Running entirely in any modern desktop browser with no installation required, NetworkSketch processes all diagramming, validation, auto-arrangement, and export operations locally on the user's machine. No diagram data is uploaded to any server, making it suited for environments with strict data-handling requirements.
NetworkSketch supports drag-and-drop placement of a broad device library covering routers, L2/L3 switches, firewalls, wireless APs, controllers, load balancers, SD-WAN edges, VPN gateways, LTE routers, modems/ONTs, ISP circuits, cloud nodes, servers, VMs, storage, endpoints, cameras, and voice gear. Cable links carry typed media attributes including copper, single-mode fiber, multi-mode OM3/OM4, DAC, wireless, WAN circuit, VPN tunnel, SIP trunk, and logical, along with speed, VLAN assignments, and per-end port labels. An automatic color-coded media type key updates as links are added. Container objects represent buildings, MDF/IDF rooms, DMZ segments, VLANs with CIDR and gateway, cloud VPCs, and racks. Per-device fields capture hostname, management IP, vendor/model, OS version, serial number, location, notes, and type-specific attributes. Multi-page documents support physical, logical, and per-site topology pages linked via Page Link shapes within a single file.
NetworkSketch includes a network check that flags duplicate IPs, IPs outside their subnet, reused ports, unlinked devices, duplicate hostnames, invalid IPs/CIDRs, and dead page links before documentation is handed off. One-click auto-arrange produces a top-down layered layout that respects building and VLAN groupings. PDF export (Letter through Tabloid/A3) generates engineering-ready output with a title block, device inventory table, and cabling schedule. PNG and CSV export are also available. Import from SolarWinds Orion is supported via a read-only export script, and device lists can be pasted directly from a spreadsheet. The subscription includes both network diagram and call-flow/IVR diagram tools at no additional cost, with a 7-day free trial requiring no credit card.
