GetApp buyers comparing speech tools usually need one of two things: a dictation product, or something that can keep up with a live room. OmniWord is the second. It is sermon translation for churches that already have a PC in the media booth.

A volunteer opens the site, selects the microphone feeding the pulpit, and starts the service. Speech becomes text, then captions and translations, while the preacher is still speaking. The pacing is meant for a sermon—phrases and sentences, not a flickering word stream.

Listeners do not download an app. They scan a QR code, pick a language, and follow on their phone. Guests can do this without making an account. Spoken translation is optional on the same device; earphones keep the pews quiet. If the church already puts lyrics on a screen, the same live text can go into ProPresenter, OBS, or vMix.

After church, the session is saved. Exports include TXT, CSV, and PDF. Pro adds SRT. Higher plans can turn a transcript into a manuscript or a short summary, and can keep a custom dictionary for names and doctrine.

OmniWord is not a membership database, a giving app, or a website translator. It will not replace Planning Center. Sung worship is a weaker fit than spoken preaching. Use it for the sermon, the welcome, and teaching.
