Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

OMZY overview
What is OMZY?
OMZY is a project accounting and cost management add-on for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, developed by JOVACO Solutions. It is built specifically for project-based businesses, including consulting, engineering, architecture, and IT services firms that manage revenue and costs by project rather than by inventory.
OMZY runs natively inside Business Central, using the same database and data model rather than operating as a separate connected application. This means there is no external integration to configure or maintain between OMZY and Business Central, and project data, financials, and reporting stay fully synchronized without manual reconciliation or scheduled data syncs.
Core functionality includes budget management, allowing firms to set project budgets and track spend against them in real time. Time and expense tracking lets staff log hours and expenses directly against specific projects and tasks, with configurable category cards defining cost types such as labor, along with allowed hours types, transaction types, and tax combinations. Work in progress (WIP) is tracked continuously, giving finance and project teams live visibility into project profitability rather than relying on month-end close.
Resource planning provides visibility into staff availability and allocation across active projects, supporting both staffing decisions and forecasting accuracy. Project-based billing supports multiple contract structures, including time and materials and lump sum, each configured with its own WIP revenue recognition and cost accounting treatment, so invoicing reflects how each client contract is actually structured.
For firms with more complex organizational structures, OMZY supports multi-company, multi-currency, and interdepartmental operations. This includes managing projects and resources across multiple legal entities, billing clients in different currencies, and allocating shared costs across departments, all within the same Business Central environment.
Because OMZY is built as a native Business Central extension rather than a standalone platform, it inherits Business Central's underlying security model, including Microsoft's Azure-based infrastructure, role-based user permissions, and data encryption standards. There is no separate authentication layer or third-party data store for project information, which reduces the security surface area compared to bolt-on tools that live outside the ERP.
OMZY is designed for organizations already using or actively implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that require deeper project accounting functionality than the base ERP provides on its own. It is developed and supported by JOVACO Solutions, a Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner based in Quebec with more than 40 years of experience serving professional services firms, offering implementation, training, and ongoing support throughout the product lifecycle.
